Mate we all know the first game after the international break, Son will get in behind our defence after 5 minutes, you know how it works.
I'm holding off on the dread for a little while at least, cant be doing with a fortnight of it. The crowd will be bang up for it, there will be zero excuses for shit performances and nowhere to hide.

Let's use this season to fast track the youngsters, get a clear picture on the ones that have a future here and ship off the rest of them. It's not over yet but we should just think of this season as an evolutionary phase, sadly its time for the old guards to pass on the torch

If we were to try to fast-track more than one or two youngsters at a time for the rest of this season, we'd end up mid table.

If Haaland gets a long term injury, we'll finish mid table

We certainly look like a mid table team at the moment.

Pep wanted a small squad and had input into comings and goings. The world and his wife could see that KDB was close to being a busted flush last season, and it was blatantly obvious that we would struggle if Rodri or Haaland were out for any length of time.

Pep signed off on the squad. He's the one getting £20m a year. There's no-one else to blame for the recent shitshow.

I hope so, finally a home game as well.

Come on, Pep. Sign that contract, two years extension, and put everyone’s mind at ease.

I know he loves midfielders but he needs to see how poor ours is at the moment. We cannot play Gundo full stop. Rodri does the work of two. Kovacic needs legs. Nunes could play or give McAtee a game as he will get up and down the pitch all game.

You have to say the Spurs game was a big mistake in hindsight. Should have completely thrown it, played the kids and wrapped everyone else up.

Pep doesn't seem too bothered about losing these games in terms of it being early in the season and to keep players on the bench who aren't quite ready. But it's a dire situation.

He needs to confirm he is staying, everything feels doom and gloom but knowing he is staying would lift the mood considerabl.

He's got us playing some fucking boring football. Even pre-rodri wasn't great. And now we're not winning. Needs to change things, as we know he can...also maybe tell everyone what the fuck you're doing in 7 months. Is he just waiting til the conclusion of 115? (Has earned the right to btw)

Do you really think the players looked like they downed tools today? Did you watch the match?
Yes I watched the match .If you can keep up I was remarking that 4 defeats and a stretch of poor performances feels like the last year of Pelligrini when the players downed tools. Try and keep up Mike

Yeah it stinks of Pellegrini.

A slow death. He’s had a shocking start to the season and signing off on this squad has been a disgrace.

He either signs the contract in the next 2 weeks or he needs to tell us.

Our recruitment has been appalling for 4 transfer windows for Pep’s small squad. Now we’re paying for it.

This feels like the last year of Pellegrini. Everyone just downed tools. What a way to end an era.
Along with Mancini's especially with falling out with the senior members of the squad. Could do with a little more cohesion and finding a second wind from somewhere. Still haven't a problem with him signing a rolling contract so it gives us a little more time in finding a replacement

Fair enough. You don’t think the players have downed tools now?
