Injuries , knackered ? That doesn't excuse the way some of them don't seem to putting in the extra yards. There was an Everton break near the end of the game which there was an alarming lack of effort to get back. The names you mentioned would not be on anyone's wish list .

The turnaround is possible in two ways:

1) new group of players (min. 5)
2) new manager

No changes means even worse situation from week to week.

the very scary thing is the amount of trainings since the Carabao loss vs Spurs end of October. he must have give plenty of instructions to the team since that and what was the result of all that?

I think something is rotten in the dressing room, I very much believe some of these players are downing tools, maybe some big disagreement, some fight went down, because the way our rot started kind of after 2 months into the season. we were not great before but got good results more often than that. we still have mostly the same points we got until mid October. then Rodri won the Ballon Dor and then everything went to shit.

and then there is the extension of Pep announced, wasnt it gonna have a great effect on the squad? right now it seems like players did not want this extension and now they play like they want this to turned back and changed.

its not just a bit of bad form where our shooting is a bit off, but will be OK once we are not rusty. there is a whole level of mental, physical breakdown here, basic things not being done. the leaders in the dressing room are some of the worst performers.

Leicester and Salford City will cause us serious problems with squads that are just brutally weak compared to ours.

Not going to get much better Dax , mentally and physically shot and Pep has no answers.

We will be losing players to injury on and off for the remainder of the season but the drive , intent and ability to put games to bed is gone.

Maybe some new blood in January might help us brighten the place up a little but forget about Chumps League next year , if not for the first nine games we would be looking over our shoulder.

1-3-9 tells us we have some serious personnel adjustments to make over the next couple of summer windows.
