Interesting Week
Pool - Totspurs - Plymouth.

Mixed performance. Team selections, tactics and subs still strange to me at times, looked better against Totspur. Line-up vs Plymouth wrong imo.

Had to laugh when i read the article about him criticising the ball for us missing so many chances v Plymouth.
Its not the ball, Lewis and others blaze well over most weeks with the PL ball, its our lack of composure thats been there all season in front of goal.

I think we are headed in the right direction now. The non compromising rotation of players from the game against Tottenham to Plymouth was the right move imho. Not only do we get a good training week with fresh players, but the new and/or young players put in quality performances. That leaves a lot of options on the table and competition for places going forward. Something that was severely lacking in the horrible period before christmas.

This season could end up being a "blip" season only, due to the clever moves made in the transfer market. Only need 1-2 more signings in the summer probably (the right ones being more important than the quantity of players), and the transition will give results going forward. Very good work bringing in these clearly talented players that were "under the radar" in the January window!

The FUCKING GOAT OF FOOTBALL MANAGEMENT. I hope the club back him with what he deserves, Would love Players like Wirtz, Rodrygo, Barella, Guimaraes etc but I think he’ll be given an 17year old Argentinian CAM with 4 senior career appearances in the Peruvian primera liga

As long as he plays Lewis in midfield and Silva anywhere on the pitch we won't be challenging for any major honours again.
In order for those two not to be played they have to be sold. Otherwise pep is too stubborn to learn. Questions need to be asked of him

I trust Pep going forward, but if he doesn't change and evolve next season, the game will leave him like it has Mourinho.

It's alarming how poor the drop off is with his football when he hasn't got the personnel available to play the way he wants.
It’s fair to have trust in him given he’s the best coach of all time but if he continues with what he’s doing then serious questions need to be asked. Such as if wirtz only path to city is with xabi, is it worth it?
