Trust me they care as their brand and image is damaged by it in front of millions around the world watching in on tv.
 
The way to rely get at them, is to be the best team in the competition. Lets get behind the team from start to finish and enjoy watching the rags, with that twisting stomach look on their faces.
 
I used to stay until the final whistle for evening games, but eversince having a child I leave around 10 minutes early. I still clap off the players to the tunnel during day games.
 
Another thing about UEFA, we could of filled the ground with more people last night who didn't buy tickets for Tuesday for whatever reason but UEFA refused any request for us to open up again to sell tickets. How is that a fan friendly organisation? What possible reason is there to not allow tickets to be sold for a football match that hasn't been played regardless of when it was meant to be played?

They might not but the fact remains, UEFA are fully aware as will major sponsors be and its embarrassing for them and it annoys them as borne out by the fact they wanted to sanction us (again) not that long back.

Agree with this. The truth is most of our fans, most of the time, do not support the team. Most would rather sit and make no contribution to the game. And it's got nothing to do with the 'new fans' just the lazy ones.
 
Not got time to read thru' 40 pages to see if it's been answered but was the 30k crowd given last night actual fans in the ground or tickets sold . Thought there was talk last week of a 45k+ crowd if it hadn't been postponed . If it's changed , why ?
 
When did we all start giving a shit about the financials, who cares. We come to watch city, not asses their financial credentials. We should just support the team, let's be honest the crowd can he embarrassingly quiet and at times we were outsung by the few monchengladbach fans that were there.
 
To repeat what I've said in the past, as soon as I am reimbursed the £800 we lost over Moscow I'll gladly stop booing, until then my back is turned during the anthem and I'll continue to boo. Sorry Pep.
 
I don't see a problem with the booing. Personally I would rather have the whole stadium sing Blue Moon or at last have the Come On City chant ruthlessly drowning the anthem.

And that my friend is exactly why it won't stop,not overnight anyway,your well within your rights to show your emotions,when things like that happen,but a rallying cry from the boss already......like he says he wasn't here when it happened,but he will know about it deep down.

I'm all for a new era and all that,but it's too early for even Pep to start with the comments about "the people", a lot of supporters are still hurt about what happened,and as I say it will not go away over night am afraid
 
Couldn't agree more with Pep!

Im right behind the manager! We are doing everything we can to conquer Europe and the world! The fans have let the club down with poor support in Europe!

Time to rectify that! Come on Cityyyy! Stop the booing and start creating a hostile atmosphere towards our opposition!!!!

The first 10 minutes the Gladbach fans made the effort then after that the singing from our support was fine. Last night was a better atmosphere with 30,000 than I've seen with 50,000 in the past.

It's amazing how many people on here are turning on the fans who bothered to turn up. The only embarrassing thing about our support are the cunts who bang on about it non stop.

It's nice you felt strongly enough to add to your 12 posts in 8 years to tell us how shit we are though.
 
I appreciate Pep's point of view. And of those City fans who think the booing should stop.

But it's a carry on from me.

UEFA, Gill, and the Cartel have done everything in their power not only to destroy City's CL campaigns, but to also hold the club back on and off the pitch. That I can never forgive and forget.

They have bent their own rules to support their agenda against us, even reporting us for booing their anthem.

And as we all know, it looks as if the campaign isn't over yet, with new rules giving previous European Cup and CL winners extra ranking points and prize money, at our expense.(plus other clubs)

The have f***ed us over, and are continuing to f***us over, aided in no part by David Gill.

Enough said.
