Going against the general concensus I think Pepe would be an excellent addition to the team..his experience would be invaluable in our CL campaign.

yes I think you are right - the only issue for me would be the fee being mooted BUT I think that is just bullshit from the real madrid loving media - big up the fee to something higher than it really is makes Madrid look better than they really are

Although he made a couple of mistakes towards the end of last season I'd rather have Hummels or someone else talented who isn't an arsehole.

A complete liability......

Bellamy was a bit wild, as was Barton (another lvl above) but this guy is a whole different class of unreliable and dangerous.......more unpredictable than Mario.

Opponents would target him to wind him up and we would constantly be down to 10 men..

I agree, if he does end up signing for us it doesn't mean we have to give him a chance to prove himself at City. I suggest we make him play in a red shirt too just so we all know to boo him if he ever turns out for us because he would really be a United player.
