Re: Pepe
I am told real Madrid would sell but he doesn't want to move.
I am told real Madrid would sell but he doesn't want to move.
They've sold Albiol to Napoli and Carvalho to Monaco. This makes Pepe absolute third choice, and if Ancelotti has anything about him (which he does) he will fuck Arbeloa off (he's bang average) and put Ramos back to his best position at RB and play Pepe with Verane.nmc said:Lots of good debate here about Pepe as to whether we (the fans) want him or not but is there any credible evidence that the club are trying to sign him - the only news story I have seen was in the Daily Star (enough said). Anyone seen Joe Royle on his holidays this year?

Pepe's going nowhere IMO.

at about the 30 second mark he makes a tackle on iniesta. If he does that as a city player he will see red.

On the flip side Kompany should of been sent off V Norwich and we get away with lots of other stuff these daysdelkhouri said:FrancoisToure said:delkhouri said:at about the 30 second mark he makes a tackle on iniesta. If he does that as a city player he will see red.
"???? That was a beautiful tackle."
My point wasn't that it was a dirty tackle. My point was that if he did that in a city uniform he would see red. Examples of this are Kompany vs Arsenal (wilshere) and Kompany vs United (Nani). Neither of those tackles deserved red but yet they were still awarded. Like Pepe or not he has a reputation. I am not even saying he deserves all of his reputation. I am just saying Pepe in a city Uniform = Red cards.

Both challenges were made with unnecessary force, particularly the Holden one which was a nasty challenge.pudge said:You make it sound like he purposely broke those players' legsJoehannes said:Broke someone's leg though. While contacted to City, he kicked Xabi Alonso in the chest. Also broke Stuart Holden's leg.kun said:Never got a red card for City
Don't think Luis Suárez has received a red card for Liverpool yet.

He was, and still is, a nasty player.
Tiote's attempted tackle on Milner, just before the Ben Arfa incident, was worse.Joehannes said:Both challenges were made with unnecessary force, particularly the Holden one which was a nasty challenge.pudge said:You make it sound like he purposely broke those players' legsJoehannes said:Broke someone's leg though. He was over aggressive on occasion but some of the horror tackles were clearly just very unfortunate accidents. I never detected any malice in his play at City and he never intentionally tried to hurt another player imo.
