Good player as a stop gap. Not a long term signing and not someone we should be pursuing in the summer.

If Hughes showed the ambition to our owners that he wants to fight for the likes of Villa, Kaka etc... We have an owner that would bend over backwards and bankroll whatever fee. Of that I am sure.

It just screams of comfort zone. Solid player that would improve us marginally. Small margins at a time.

Anyone who thinks Crouch is shit needs to take a look at his stats .
Stats don't lie , and show clearly he is a prolific scorer . He also scores for fun at International level too , and all this from a guy who hasn't had a fair crack at the whip ..... because he looks different .
