It's possible as none of us know the inner workings of the club so can't 100% discount that scenario but remember we have been here before with UEFA and the run-up to the CAS hearing. Many of us were speculating back then that UEFA might have more evidence against us than the e-mails themselves, given that they were as good as saying that via leaks to the press, but in the end it turned out that they didn't which was utterly laughable really. So I guess that if UEFA can be so stupid to charge us - and subsequently ban and fine us - then the PL can too.Purely speculating, of course, but I guess if the PL had, say, a whistleblower witness of their own that could potentially counter our evidence. I doubt they have, but you'd imagine they must have something that gave them confidence to proceed with such serious charges. Unless the aim really was just to smear our name, as some have claimed, but it will be more reputationally damaging to the PL if the charges are thrown out. If they've just been railroaded into this by certain clubs then their credibility is shot.

So,compared with what Chelsea are alleged to have done, these are minor.Theres a real story there but tossers like Wallace and Herbert don't go there. He's heard what I've been telling the forum all along. That there are essentially just three substantive charges, plus the consequent ones deriving from those three (failure to provide accurate accounts, which then impacts PL cost control rules and UEFA's FFP).
The three are:
If none of those can be proven then the rest automatically fail.
- Mancini's Al Jazira contract. Red herring and UEFA also knew about it in 2018.
- Image rights payments. UEFA knew about this by 2015 & it was resolved.
- Sponsorship revenue, probably the Etisalat contract that was time-barred. Again, UEFA knew about that and had agreed there was no issue.
Multiply that by multiple rules and multiple years to get the magic 115 number.

The new loan rule absolutely and utterly spells out in huge capital letters what the agenda is
what credibility? Everyone knows and has known for some time that the pl works at the behest of certain clubs, the rags and the dippers were allowed to interview the current chief exec and this is how the yanks operate, when they cant match on a level playing field they immediately go down the litigation route, its yank business 101 when you cant win, sue.Purely speculating, of course, but I guess if the PL had, say, a whistleblower witness of their own that could potentially counter our evidence. And that's exactly the same position as UEFA were in. We know for an absolute fact that Ceferin was desperately trying to keep the cartel clubs happy, by getting us to plead guilty to what were described to me by a senior member of staff as 'technical accounting breaches' and accept a token fine. But he also knew they really had fuck all on us, and not much that would stick, so he had to try to keep us happy as well. The PL found themselves between a rock and a hard place. Under immense pressure from the history boys to investigate these charges, and under the threat of an independent regulatory body they simply had to act. The risk was that the history boys pushed for the independent regulator instead - I'm sure that was threatened. So they took action. I don't think the PL lose any credibility if no charges are brought against us. They just say that the fair and impartial review deemed the club innocent of all charges.
Part of the job has been done by just bringing charges upon us. It's meant that supporters of the history boys are convinced we're guilty and will still be convinced if and when we are found innocent. Yes they'd love for us to be relegated, stripped of titles and ruined as a club but reputational damage is still a big win for those in the boardroom.
and the pl and all the red shirt clubs will cry foul, this is what happens when a bully picks on someone bigger than themselves or in our case someone with way deeper pocketsAnd that's exactly the same position as UEFA were in. We refused to be the meat in the sandwich and effectively won at CAS. I'm confident we'll see pretty much the same outcome here (that we'll fight and win, rather than be cleared by CAS I mean).
