as i keep on saying, you really give too much credit to the daily fail, the torygraph, sky sports news, talkshite, spitty and neville, their reach is comparatively tiny and is in effect just an echo chamber shouting the same bullshit to the same idiots, we really have to get out of this mindset that what happens in this country resonates with the rest of the world, it just doesnt, china, europe, america etc does not give a fuck about gary neville or the daily mail, its us that are giving it any kind of creedence, their inane ramblings are nothing more than a tick on the back of an elephant when it comes to city.

To be fair, Ratboy has always been understanding of our plight & is one of the few who's called out FFP/PSR for the bullshit scams they are.

Spuds being praised as a model club is a case in point. They've not progressed beyond those ahead & the chasing pack behind, they've dragged everyone back to their level by supporting FFP/PSR.

The PL are in a race to the bottom of European football. It's evident the Red Top Mafia & Spuds couldn’t give a fuck, as long as when the PL hits the pits with a splat, they're still ahead of everyone else.

Utter madness! We need to launch a hostile takeover of the Premier League alongside the chasing pack who're finally waking up to the bit part they'll always play in the PL, with the way things currently stand.

I’d guess that huge swathes of U.K. football fans have their opinions formed by Sky Sports/BT, the red tops and other tabloid papers and TS.
All of these outlets have gone after City for years now and there’s no doubt it’s had a knock on affect which had led to opposition fans becoming more emboldened in how they talk to blues.
I’m in Spain so manage to avoid it but imagine those based in the line of fire must be getting fucking disillusioned by it all.
It’s hard to ignore when it’s constant.

Have seen a lot of posts on here stating that they can't understand why the club don't come out and make statements regarding the shit we are getting in the Media ect and not banning the shit journalists from the stadium. Why don't these posters email the club and ask them.

Would seem even Simon Jordon who believes were guilty as sin is coming to the conclusion that it will be unlikely that we will be found guilty due to the wider repercussions it would imply ! Accusations that a countries head of state is guilty of fraud for one and major sports brands have also.been involved another ! It seems that Cefron is trying to.vindicate his decision to charge City with perhaps yet another independent commission finding us not guilty ?? Just a thought l!

I am prefacing this post with the observation that I have deliberately kept away from this thread, and have only read the odd post now and again. Plus I have also purposely not read any further than headlines on News pages.
This is because I am at an age where I like to try to keep my blood pressure down as much as possible by not reading things that are going to get my exasperation and rage going!!

Therefore I am just going to ask one question: Do you as a BlueMoon poster/Manchester City supporter feel that City are innocent of all the charges or at least some of the charges?

I would hopefully get a straight yes or no answer as I am not even sure what charges have been brought. Sorry if I annoy some by not wanting to go deep, deep down into 165 or whatever charges. None of us as fans can truly know what the club are doing but do we think they are guilty?

Personally, through my blue tinted City loving glasses I wholeheartedly want to say no we are not guilty but I am realistic enough to know that the powers that be wouldn't open themselves to ridicule by bringing charges if they weren't satisfied that there is some substance. Plus I know how big business works, there are so many things that go on behind closed doors.


However whatever the outcome I will still state we are THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD. :-) CITY FOR EVER.

No doubt we've looked at ways of maximising revenue as any business would, such as the Fordham image rights issue. UEFA looked at that and told us it wasn't within their rules and asked us to desist so it was wound up.

ill tell you exactly why they dont and its quite simple really, the reason is you cant fix stupid, it literally does not matter what we say to these people because they need to believe we are guilty, even when we are are found innocent it wont matter because we will still be guilty to these people because they need that safety blanket of us being the bad guys because then they dont have to face up to the reality of their clubs not being what they once were, so why would be waste energy on trying to convince morons when no matter what we say it will make zero difference, we will do what we always do and thats just keep on winning.

In the days leading to the final, I received a call from an executive at City, who had been involved in a meeting with Ceferin earlier. He asked if we (1894) would 'tell' fans not to boo the anthem before the final. Ceferin had personally asked for it.

If anyone says we shouldn’t boo the anthem then the quote above should be all the justification required.

It shouldn’t be down to the fans, realistically what are we going to do? Give em the finger whilst they’re chowing down on a prawn and cucumber butty, it’s just more ammo for them to spout shite on twitter which then earns them a nice wedge. Ban them, hit them where it hurts.

Stop them from getting in the ground, force them out by any mean necessary (not all of them of course)

Ever heard the phrase 'keep your enemies close'? It's especially important in business. In the long term it will undoubtedly benefit the club by trying to not let the UEFA relationship completely disintegrate. Love them or loath them, they are our main governing body, the path of least resistance is to try and at least keep the relationship cordial, because they have the ability to causes us considerable long term pain (as we have experienced)

Even so, there's absolutely no reason why City couldn't have had a polite word with Ceferin about what happened in Istanbul and how unacceptable it all was. I wouldn't expect them to go in there like a bull in a china shop - just hand over the extensive report from City Matters along with the articles Rob Draper has written (the only journalist who seems to be fighting our corner on this) and ask him to read through it.
