PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Utd dominated and the media STILL have PTSD over them not winning nowadays. They want the right winners.
many months back the was a rag on the cafe who was demanding a handicap system for clubs, so for eg city would start the season on -10 points to level the playing field, all in competitive fair play, strange how things like this were never mentioned 12 plus years ago

A settlement is a settlement. Done, finished and time barred anyway. And City settled for peanuts so not much of a big deal despite the noise on here.

Sorry, I must be being stupid here but how can something from 2013 been time barred but the Mancini stuff from 2009 not be?

Especially when both were only uncovered years later.

whats the criteria to decide that as i want united to start on -1000 points for being cheating , whinging, hypocritical fucks and there isnt a number big enough for what i want the dippers to start on.

Bad news for those who are expecting this case to get resolved asap or in timely manner.
Pl will just leave this hanging and not give a flying fuck about any common ground. They achieved their end goal , ie smear campaign and it was successful atleast inside thier pea sized brain. City fans can never move past this shit coz this 115 is like dried old shit , the more you poke it , more it stinks.

If there is fraud involved, the time barring is removed.

It was my understanding that it’s not fraud specifically, but concealment, that removes the limitation period, which starts from when the legal claim could be started.

So if the PL didn’t know about the “hack” until 2019 because Liverpool and City didn’t disclose it, that’s when the 6 year limitation period would start.

I suspect City wouldn't want it resurrected either, why people keep bringing it up is just "whataboutery" nonsense. You'd have thought City fans would know better given all the "whataboutery" aimed at us.
Totally agree that we can't use whataboutery when defending ourselves against the current allegations and no way City would resort to that. However, if we're cleared then we'd be within our rights to demand that the PL investigate the finances of certain other clubs with the same vigour that they've investigated us, starting with Liverpool's (alleged) non-existent £35m of costs for their non-existent new stadium in Stanley Park that saw them magically pass UEFA's FFP regs around a decade ago. Of course that would be time-barred under UEFA's own rules but not necessarily under the Premier League's.
