PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I just feel so bad for him. What he has done for this league and English football is forever going to be diminished by the media lapdogs because of all this crap even when, hopefully, we are cleared of any wrongdoing. If the fucking Rags or Dippers had Pep he would be treated like a fucking king! Bastards!
So we need to give him what he wants....starting with a home crowd who absolutely scare the crap out of the away team with noise like no other ground can match....for starters.

Your answer to all this fucking nonsense is right there in your reply, if the club taken over by Sheikh Mansour was one of the two red teams, none of this would be happening.

Take it for what it is, unprecented charges created by unprecedented fuckwits who run the game at the whims of a few teams, coincidentally who happen to play in red.

City will win as the old fûcking self serving fuckwits who run this game are as corrupt as Blatter and Platini, they think they are untouchable, I think we in the next months are going to find out if they are!

So when we have dragged the PL through the courts and won where does that leave football in the UK ? Hopefully in a better position than it is now. This whole corrupt regime needs sorting out once and for all, and if it's City that needs to bring it down then so be it. We need to go for the jugular and keep slashing until this biased corrupt organisation is shown for what it is, institutionally corrupt .

The mad thing is IF proven to be true, it’s the end of absolutely everyone high up at the club, including Sheikh Mansour. Club would be up for sale. Over 100 charges, Jesus Christ it does feel like we’re fucked.
Ha ha ha ha ha.....for a moment I thought you were serious then. Good one.

Can we not just ditch Etihad for one season and come running out with MaryD’s or Truman’s steel across the new shirts ?
Might keep a few quiet;)

Seems to me to be a case of throwing as much shit at us as possible and hoping that some of it will stick. Worst case is that something significant will stick and we get branded as cheats and punished accordingly. Best case is that none of it sticks but we get branded as cheats anyway based on the no smoke without fire theory. So it’s win win for the cartel. We get dragged through the mud irrespective of the outcome.

My prediction is that a few of the minor infringements will stick and we’ll end up with a small fine. The sorts of things that probably every club is guilty of if you look hard enough. This will be enough for the fans of the red clubs to make out we’ve got away with it and they will never let it drop.

I think the Twitter spaces chat was really helpful. It's bigger than I thought, so when people are saying relegation is a realistic outcome if found guilty they really mean that. The good news is the league realistically has to prove that we have knowingly and deliberately cooked the books at every level of the organization, that multiple parties have covered and lied about it, and than auditors and independent regulators of multiple companies have either been misled or failed to spot this. It's a huge set of claims that will need to be established, to the extent that even Stefan isn't sure that the premier league fully appreciate what they've set themselves up for. But if they can realistically demonstrate that this has been happening every season, year after year, then it's not a slap on the wrist.
I'm about halfway through listening and this is exactly what I'm taking away thus far. Let's be clear - what the PL are alleging is conspiracy to commit fraud. I wholly support the view that the PL has no idea what it is getting itself into by making these very serious and damaging allegations. They have essentially elevated the burden of proof to a significantly higher level than would otherwise be required, and this can simply not be dealt with by an independent panel of their choosing. This is criminality that is being alleged and I don't think they grasp it. If they did, they'd have notified HMRC compliance units immediately. When taken with the fact that they botched the initial release of the charges against us, I am actually more confident than I was before - this investigation is being led by under-qualified people which reflects in their procedural sloppiness and inability to grasp the magnitude of their own allegations.

I suppose. Hopefully it’s done and dusted in 4 months and we’re all happy with the outcome.
I hope you are right mate, but unless there is some type of deal stuck or a major backing down by the FA, then this could drag on for years!

The two bints who wasted a few million on one of them selling stories to the sun dragged on longer than a few months!

Don't worry lads, the BBC are planning a "Harry is innocent!" style interview with Pep, he'll flutter his eyes a bit then he'll do a Princess Di style "head down eyes up" look to prove his innocence for the cameras, and then after a week or so of tabloid fueled furore it'll just get swept under the carpet, never to be spoken of again, just like Knob'ed Neville's endorsed postponement of a Premier League game...

...oh, hang on a minute, we don't play in red, do we?

We're fucked!

I'm no expert but reading the educated people's comments on here it seems we will get a fine/ sanctions and we will appeal to the courts with a top legal team that will give us the best hope of fuckin these charges off for the right reasons

I can't see them proving the allegations they've set out, certainly not for 9 seasons. I think they'll fine us big for the non-cooperation though not on all 30 counts.
