PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I thought this keegan geezer has a strong dislike to us?

It is the same one who writes nonsense in the manny evening news?

Yep he went out the way to ask the club about a rumour that is positive and do you really think that city or Whoever he asked saying "yep all cleared up now" It was a pointless tweet by him!

Its obviously bothered me a little but I’ve always known our well run club just wouldn’t allow this kind of deception to occur. The compliance within this industry is significant.

Sorry, late to the party.

Currently in the kitchen, mine sweeping, and talking to an attractive women.

If it is, I’ll leave the party.

I hadn't actually read it in full, so it was at least helpful for me. It is news to me that the rumour is that it has already made it to the hearing and it's gone City's way. Great if true, if not, there's still plenty of rumblings to inspire confidence on things going in City's favour.

I love Rawk for its comedy output. All bemoaning City lawyers trying to hush the red cartel journalists with legal writs etc liking it to the despotic regimes in the middle east denying free speech. Such a lack of self awareness from a fan group who hounded a journalist out of his job for daring to question the behaviour of Liverpool fans
Hypocrite FC

Having spent a depressing amount of my life in board meetings, as I suspect is the same for you HCU, at best they’re getting a 5 minute rundown from Cliff for the CFG combined to make more time for something from the Waitrose finest collection.

I’d be shocked if the NED’s know anymore about the case than most people on here do as ultimately it’s not relevant for them.

If we have sent out letters, surely it's just about calling bluff? You can't really sue someone for telling the truth, so if these journalists really believe they're right they are more than welcome to keep going. It will separate the click-baiters from the people who are genuinely confident that we have cheated. I suspect the second group will be very small.

You really think that’s an accurate description of the CFG board…….

Delusional.

Ah, Mailonline have stated the charges haven't been dropped.

Relieved it's all been sorted now!

It’s fun how they’ve been making up fiction since February 2023 that City are going to be stripped of titles and banished to the national league. Then the more likely option that City and the Premier League are working on a way out with the charges dropped they are desperate to shut it down and call it lies. They need to protect their readers don’t they?

It does when you’re quantifying how much compensation the dippers needed to pay. They clearly were guilty as they paid Compo. So why £1m as opposed to £1 or £100m?

The crime itself of cheating and hacking was benefiting Liverpool and hurting Manchester City's future
£1million would be peanuts to Liverpool and know wonder they settled quickly, They knew they got away with it

3 or 4 windows sanctions for signing youth players and 1 transfer window for senior signings would have been better

Would guess given the nature of the allegations being in the main historical the Premier League would need to prove fraud prior to any hearing otherwise would be time barred

But that’s essentially their case, they have been accusing us of fraud.
