I suspect any attempt at a settlement is not about us agreeing to some sort of 'pinch' but more about how the PL extricate themselves from the mess they've created.
While it must be tempting for City to say "You started this, so you need to finish it" I'm guessing we'll need to help them out in some way. Probably by not suing the arse off them.

Kavanagh is a rag from Ashton but apparently his brother is a Blue, I’d say he’d like to stich his sibling and City up.The PL have appointed the 2 PL referees with the least favourable stats for our club, in the next 2 away matches: Taylor and Kavanagh,(both about 55% when are normal win % is over 70%). The PL seems to be trying to ensure we don't achieve the historic 4 successive top flight wins. I put the stat. details in the Ref Watch forum.
