Why would City cooperate with a witchhunt against themselves ? Knowing that delicate information about financial deals will be passed on to the American owners.
There is a reason City didn't cooperate with both UEFA and the pl and that's because both leak things to our rivals.

In what other walk of live can you be found innocent but guilty of non cooperation ? You are innocent so why cooperate.

City were charged by UEFA for a number of reasons, you do have to give an investigation, all the evidence at the time they ask for it.City gave the evidence to CAS. CAS do not find anyone guilty they merely uphold the charges or not, and go into arbitration. The PL seem to be saying that their investigation, was running along side the UEFA case, so the non compliance is also there.
It is just accidental that the non compliance ties all the charges together, or at least my utd mate thinks so.

I think CAS said something like the investigative process would be a complete mockery if clubs refused to co-operate, so it is a serious breach. Iirc.

I am completely clueless RE legal matters but is the City claim that the PL are breaking the Contract? By that I mean the PL are effectively targeting City with rule changes which discriminate eg Asia cf USA.
If so they cannot apply a Contract break penalty because they are equally guilty by treating us differently than other clubs.
Whilst both cases are separate if we win the latest then a contract break at 115 trial may be treated more leniently.
 
Top story on the daily Mail now. Negative one so it will stay there for days. If it was positive it’d be down in the hour

For me this is the press, trying to make up for the massive own goal, when they published `City to sue` as the 115 panel will have to reassess the independence of the investigation. The Government too will be very interested.

Not read the article about the latest situation it’s just annoying now. However it makes no sense he leaked info last time don’t know if he got paid but seems not and presumably he cannot benefit from illegal acts. So it would seem if he had anything he would have released it first or before what he has already released or before now. What does he hope that we pay him off ? Yeh right

Why would he hold back info from the initial stuff sent to Der Spiegal 6 years ago? He’s a two bit criminal probably thinks he can black mail people with threats, anyway if the Premier League are fully disclosing emails for the 115 hearing would City not be too? If it’s on an email server wouldn’t the people involved in this hearing be able to see it anyways rather than hacked information?

Pinto is still facing a potential fresh prosecution over more than 300 other offences of hacking and extortion.
His lawyer's motive for these latest comments is amost certainy an attempt to bolster his ongoing defence that Pinto is a whistlebower not a blackmailer. He tried the same defence in the first trial in Portugal but it didn't work. Pinto ended up pleading gulty to attempted extortion and data theft in return for a suspended jail sentence. The trial was ignored in the English press but I followed it as best as I could in the overseas media and the evidence against Pinto was overwhelming. He tried to obtain £500,000 from the Doyen Sports Agency and was caught on tape.
 
I think we've reached the top trumps phase of the case. Supporters of the dark side thought they had pulled out a winner when the PL was ordered to hand over all its texts and emails going right back to the golden age of time barring in 2009, only to find that the PL has had its own top trump carefully concealed up its sleeve all along, thanks to his honestyness, Rui Pinto. His revelations show conclusively that Khaldoon placed a bet as long ago as 2013 on Rishi Sunak calling a general election on July 4, 2024. The game's up, lads.
