PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I've not really been following this but why did he mention Mourinho at all?
I think a journalist compared Guardiola holding up six fingers at Anfield with something Mourinho had done previously.

Edit

Here you go:

Mourinho, who won three Premier League titles at Chelsea, had similarly held up three fingers to opposing fans during an underwhelming league campaign at Manchester United, before being sacked in December 2018 after a loss to Liverpool.

Guardiola was asked at a press conference whether he could face a fate similar to Mourinho.

"I hope not in my case... he won three, I won six.. but we are the same like that," Guardiola answered.

He was always a thundercunt. He was just a thundercunt who got one over on Ferguson for a while. And then a thundercunt who some thought was amusing for a while because of his thundercuntishness. But always a thundercunt, nevertheless.

People don't change. He is, was and always will be a thundercunt. More people have just realised it now. That's all.
He wasn't in his first spell at Chelsea. I've met a number of people who came into contact with him at that time, including someone who worked with all PL managers in his role. That latter person couldn't praise Jose enough and told me that he was a really kind and intelligent person. I've heard from people who know the GPC well, that hos public persona as manager was very different to his private one.

Something seems to have happened to Mourinho since then mind you.

They’ve basically had only two decent managers in their entire existence. Yet they think they should lay claim on English football.

Take away the unbelievably ridiculous numbers of braindeads who regard being a supporter as the height of fandom, and let normal circumstances prevail, and they would be a nothing special type of club who had success in the past.

Mourinho has turned into a bitter old man who knows his best days are behind him. The only way he's going to make headlines nowadays is by shooting his mouth off and being a bit controversial in what he says.
He knows he won't be making headlines on the football pitch ever again. Whatever he says about us and Pep is 200% dripping with jealousy and envy.

Fuck him.

His best days were when you could spend as much as you like when Chelsea stockpiled players. His last success of note was nearly a decade ago winning the Premier League with Chelsea. He failed miserably at the rags and then spurs, there’s a reason no decent club will go near him anymore.

My grandma always used to say jealousy is such an ugly trait

Just have to say that, of all his many qualities, Pep is an extraordinarily good troll.

He's impressively snide, bitter and sarcastic when he wants to be. I love it.

He'll be unbearable if we do win this case.

I’ve probably mentioned this before, but a few years back I got into conversation with a relative of one of the physios at united. I was told that of all the managers the physio had worked under at the club, dating back to Ferguson’s time, the only one he didn’t like working for, and the only one he had a bad thing to say about was JM.
Every other manager respected his decision when told a player was too injured to play, and respected player welfare etc, even though they might have obviously been pissed off to get the news.

JM was the only one who was different. He would bully and ignore and not accept the decision of the medical professionals.
Bullying allegations have followed Mourhino his whole career. Whatever the snakes in the media say he is an utter twat.

This is grossly unfair! They had a third manager who won the league twice ...... before world war 1. Better keep quiet that they got him from City after the sanctions of 1906. Oh ... and we'd better keep quiet about the slapped wrist the got in the early 60s for "financial irregularities".

I can't really believe Jose is an egotistical attention seeker, can you?

I met Ferguson once at a charity event in Scotland. He couldn’t have been nicer. That said I have heard very negative things from people who worked at the swamp, Perhaps they are both narcissists

Probably been mentioned, but Jose's Premier League legacy was built on Chelsea outspending everybody by a considerable distance, where I am sure they wouldn't have complied with modern day rules. The top and bottom of it if we have "cheated" we have simply spent more than the powers that be believed we should. Something Chelsea did without repercussion.

Like his Press replies I'm sure he keeps in mind the need to not be distracted by insignificant arguments. In Mr Mous case an insignificant person.

Sorry Colin, just noticed an earlier post answering your query rather than my take on it.

isn't the irony that Chelsea have been allegedly accused with "off book" payments to players/staff whilst Mourinho was their manager.
