PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Does anyone have a list of current sponsorship “value” on:

1) Shirt brand (Adidas, Nike, Puma…),
2) Primary shirt sponsor,
3) Shirt sleeve sponsor,
4) Training kit sponsor,
5) Stadium naming rights sponsors, and
6) Training ground naming rights sponsors

for the top clubs in the PL and the big European names?

It would also be interesting to know how “FMV” is calculated across different teams and leagues across Europe.

My understanding is that UEFA have not pursued the whole Etihad - related party issue simply because they considered the sponsorship FMV - so it would be surprising if we were now told the PL does not consider the Etihad sponsorship FMV for the years covered by these charges ( there seems to be no evidence that Etihad’s level of sponsorship was out of line with other top six clubs during this period). I seem to recall @Prestwich_Blue may know better - but discussions with UEFA re Etisalat resulted in City agreeing to voluntarily cap the level of the sponsorship with this sponsor - from memory that may have been the case for another minor sponsor too.

There are three big X accounts that back City, A Newcastle fan, an Everton fan and a WHU fan, plenty of comments in those threads suggest that 'other' fans think we are getting turned over by the red cartel.

don't get me wrong there is plenty of that all over the place but 99% is a tad on the high side.

I don't follow a lot of people on X so there maybe more big fan accounts supporting City but I just see those three I mentioned.

I will try and look the people out for you, I don't actually follow them but people I follow do, so I see them often enough.

I agree it didn't really need to pursue the related arty issue partly because they decided the Etihad contract was broadly FMV, so whether it was a related party or not made no practical difference.

My view at the time was that the smart course of action might have been to accept Etihad was a related party, in which case there would be no case to answer around disguised equity investment because FFP allowed owners to sponsor their clubs via commercial contracts (as long as they were FMV).

Also see the post from @Pablo ZZZ Peroni above. PWC's view was very questionable and could easily have been challenged. I doubt it was a fight UEFA really wanted.

What was PwC's view? Was it that Mansour's half-brother was the CEO of Etihad, or that Mansour was the Chairman of the President's Office for his brother Khalifa, the ruler of Abu Dhabi and the founder of Etihad?

Curious as to where you get your statistics from? I know plenty of none city fans that either think we’re not guilty or profess not to know either way. The ones that think we’re guilty tend to be direct rivals. In my experience. I live in south London so I’m not surrounded by blues.

They select & interview the candidates for the PL Chief Executive position. In 2019, Susanna Dinnage resigned her position three weeks after being announced as Scudumore's successor because of claims the cartel clubs had an unhealthy amount of influence over the PL. They didn't want a CEO, they wanted a yes man (woman) talking head.

Several other candidates subsequently turned down the position before the cartel happened across their current lapdog Masters. As incredible as it sounds, they've been trying to strangle City since birth (2008 SM takeover), & this latest episode in their long running sitcom goes to prove how desperate they are to stop us at any cost... As long as the cartel clubs aren't the ones having to face the media, whilst trying to pretend they're being fair & balanced & only concerned with the welfare of football.

Two years ago I was seriously shaking like a shitting dog at the thought of my club being litigated out of existence, but then the smoke cleared & I began to see this FFP, PSR & APT farce for the comical shitshow it is.

Against the background of all these allegations which amount to sevetal serious criminal acts, ask yourself why no statutory bodies (to our knowledge) have ever investigated City for the fraud, money laundering or the tax evasion we're essentially being accused of?

There lies the answer to your "nothing to see here" question.
