PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

First off I have never give this prick the light of day, but this video popped up on my YT feed so thought I would see what he is peddling after the recent email to sly sports etc...

The narrative starts. That spunk bubble goldridge has done a vid and says the following:

"If you get found NOT GUILTY, it doesnt mean you didnt do anything. It just means you didnt get found guilty in a court case"
Technically correct.

If true though, it also means we are the cleanest of all the PL clubs, as we've had the biggest investigation ever taken place on us, with no evidence found to prove us guilty.

Has any other club had to do this? No. They're all far more likely to have skeletons in their closets than we are. Maybe time will prove that too.

I would like that to say even if we are found guilty my love of city and my gratitude to the owners wouldn’t change or be changed.
I mean, stop and think about it, what actually are we guilty of? Not following some stupid rules dreamt up by washed up business cunts that had a golden goose of a league sewn up tight printing cash, rules that were specially dreamt up to stop anyone getting to whir level?

Fuck that, we broke no laws, we didn’t cheat, we didn’t stop anyone else from being competitive, we didn’t hack databases or kill anyone

Our owners invest, rarely ever take any money out. Not just the club but they have almost single handedly driven the rejuvenation of East Manchester, and do untold amounts of charity work and not to mention what they’ve done for the Woman’s game. These aren’t the actions of some evil guy bent on destroying the sport but the unwashed masses are too tribal, too whipped up by hatred by the pets in the media to see the truth. In my opinion city’s biggest issue was trying to play by the rules for so long, giving them a chance. They had no intention of letting us do it.

Our only crime was ambition with the power to match, and I’d never apologize or feel guilty for that.

Well said. Post of the week!

I am feeling a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

This is true, but if you accuse someone of murder after they have been acquitted in court, you'd better have some new and compelling evidence. Because if you're just expressing an opinion based on prejudice you can have your arsed sued off you for libel.

It isn't technically correct because that isn't how accountancy works.

City's financial statements are audited by an independent firm of accountants who provide positive assurance that they are materially true and fair.

The starting point isn't just 'innocent until proven guilty', it's 'already proven innocent so you better have some extraordinary evidence to the contrary'

We don't need any more evidence to know that bloke is an absolute ****.

I might be wrong here but didn't Stefan say that not providing absolutely everything you have is a tried and trusted litigation tactic.
Yes and City say they did respond as required - certainly post the High Court. I don't think non-cooperation is a foregone conclusion. The PL process was very different to the UEFA process.

Was he even a good player, I can't remember anything he ever did? With most players you can remember a moment, a tackle, a goal...... absolutely nothing in my head's database of his playing days whatsoever.
Yes, he was a very good player, in an era when it was chock full of quality centre halves. If he was playing now, people would be suggesting he was outstanding and would be a definite for England. Hes a prick, but he was a very good player.
