At the end of the day, City have maintained their position throughout. The transfers, stadium expansions, Haaland contract and so on are just part of every day. No reason for us to stop.Haalands contract extension tells me that we are golden . Before he joined us, his team went through an exhaustive points tally procedure to determine the best team for him to go to and it was City. No way do they advise him to sign the contract extension that he has done, if there is the smallest chance we are in a lower league than the Prem for any time, or there is any transfer bans etc that would impact his career and their ability to make money for themselves off the back of his earning potential.
Whilst Pannick may have given his expert judgement on how it went, nobody knows until its done. If it was done, we would know about it. City haven't just shown the ruling to Haaland and got his team to sign up on the back of it.
If the shit hits the fan, I am sure Haalands contract has more than a few break clauses in it.
