PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

What gets me is the Dippers actually cheated on the pitch. Most of there squad diagnosed as asthmatic after joining the club and allowed to have them dodgy sprays.
Yet no one is concerned, there’s no PL investigation and it’s forgotten about.

I hope City expose the PL for what they are.

The fa wnt the dippers at the top.
Just like they want the rags at the top.
It helps the brand more worldwide so called supporters.
But the fa and everyone else are shit scarred of investing or accusing the grief loving scousers of anything.
As the sun newspaper found out they will embrace the pity and keep going on and on about it until the truth is altered into a version of the truth they agree with.
Scousers love nothing more than self pity.
It's keeps them going.
Gives them something to whine and light candles about.
And that way they get to carry on doing what ever they like safe in the knowledge it will be someone else's fault

This just shows that the FA and the PL is run by dinosaurs, they genuinely believe in the bullshit figures and the press delusion that in some way the rags and dippers bring in more money and move the needle more than any others and they must be at the top when in reality its bullshit, the games that have the most worldwide views recently have involved city, in the last ten years when the pl has grown exponentially across the world city have been at the forefront of that. All the rags and dippers have is good press and idiot fans and not much else the depth of hatred for both of them amongst all other fans is far greater than what their combined amount of fans bring to the table.

Great recollection mate, I remember those shops now you mentioned them by name, especially the hardware store, seemed at the time we were never out of there it sold everything you needed for minor repairs.

when the hardware stores started to go it all started to breakdown, they sold everything you needed and you could go in with a vague description of a bit and they would know exactly what you mean , now you have to order a pack of 10 from amazon or go to b&q and by a pack of something when you only need 2.

has my memory mislaid/misremembered the PL rule, that says if a club is found to fail uefa ffp/psr then they automatically break the pl rule and are subject to sanctioning?

Or did this quietly disappear when United had a ‘minor breach’ (still unquantified iirc) of uefa ffp/psr a couple of years ago?

It will be the end of the season now. In my opinion of course.

If the prem have any influence on the release date, then i can't see them releasing it beforehand.

As we know, when they charged us we then went on to win the treble. Thanks Premier League :-)

A positive or even negative verdict could also rally us to win every single last game, cementing champs league qualification and an FA cup win.

They won't want that!

I don't think that was ever a PL rule ....

Well city are charged with a breach of the requirement to meet UEFA licensing rules (todays B.14/2018: B.15.6) but there have been no signs that PL will go after any team ever for such a breach other than City

Yes, I thought so. So the usual PL evenhandedness in dealing with its members.

maybe just a maybe the prem are hoping for some kind of points sanction, not enough to relegate us but enough to damage our title hopes, the damage has been done this season and were not winning it so apart from CL it would be pointless receiving a small deduction of points, if the decision is done close season i would have thought the punishment would apply 25/26 so in effect the PL would get maximum benefit out of screwing us over, not that i think this is happening its just a point on why the PL are delaying and thats if they are

I am sure the solicitors have asked the question as to why the pl have failed to go after the dippers and rags for the same offence, the more that comes out surrounding this just shows what it was all about and how dodgy the pl are in terms of its treatment of members, im fairly sure its something they would rather have not taken on in hindsight because its putting the old boys club with their secret handshakes squarely in the limelight and thats not where they wanted to be.

Part of me is screaming inside my head that they surely wouldn't have pushed it this much without wanting more than just a points deduction if they concoct a ruling their favour.

Either way they have created a monster, if we are exonerated it looks bad for them and if they get us in a mere technicality they are going to have to shoot us like a lame Horse because their masters at red top villa demand it.

After all this blows over whatever the outcome the corruption will be laid out in plain sight for all to see, in effect they have actually exposed themselves.

honestly i dont think the pl are delaying, i think all evidence was submitted, all arguments had and its just taking the time it takes because of the sheet amount and how many years it covered and what information was available and not available and why in both instances, the pl are making accusations they dont have a hope of proving and they know that but as anyone who works in law also knows they will have gone down the route of throwing everything they had both relevant or not and hoping that some of sticks, its not necessarily a sound legal footing but it has worked in the past in some cases, i cant see it working in this one because the figures are the figures and unless they have documentation proving otherwise then their objections are just suspicions and wants and wont hold any weight but the process still has to be followed.
