Not sure about that mate, i work for the nhs and we are ripped off left right and centre in that regards, having to buy from approved suppliers at an over inflated price wastes absolute fortunes, lack of choice drives up prices in that respect.

Yet the NHS are one of, if not the largest single purchaser across Europe. It should be them driving the price, not the seller

In fairness, if City have been claiming expenses on supplying transmission belts to the NHS and pencils to Catholic Schools, that does sound well dodgy.

As far as I am aware city passed on information requested by the PL after the tribunal ruling, that's according to the legal bulletins I receive at work.

I might be seeing this a bit too simply but either city provided the info requested and are clear on the non cooperation charge or they did not comply with the ruling by the tribunal and thus I would expect a ruling of this being proven on balance of probabilities.

They have been extremely confident from the very start of the investigation and nothing subsequently has changed their minds they have to play the long game you don’t hire a top legal team then start shouting your mouth off until the verdict is released

And this is the bit I dont understand with the whole Michelle Mone and others accused of providing sub-standard PPE to the NHS during Covid.

I get the market was impossible, prices were sky-high, no supply available so new people "appeared" to help supply goods, but if the price was agreed, if the product was sub-standard, why wasn't the product rejected and the goods not paid for. Sounds like an issue for NHS Procurement rather than Mone & Co...

We bought a company who were supplying transmission belts to nhs wales, cost .75p sold a £15 each, we considerably reduced supply costs to the nhs, but lost the contract because we weren’t the registered supplier any longer they moved the business to the next on the list and continue to be ripped off … no wonder they are in the s**t !

The procurement process at the swamp during the Ferguson era would not stand up to much scrutiny.

This is indeed a case of insane profligacy, however I would point out that the nuts did actually exist, whereas the leaves were entirely fictitious.
