PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Not sure about that mate, i work for the nhs and we are ripped off left right and centre in that regards, having to buy from approved suppliers at an over inflated price wastes absolute fortunes, lack of choice drives up prices in that respect.
Yet the NHS are one of, if not the largest single purchaser across Europe. It should be them driving the price, not the seller

As far as I am aware city passed on information requested by the PL after the tribunal ruling, that's according to the legal bulletins I receive at work.

I might be seeing this a bit too simply but either city provided the info requested and are clear on the non cooperation charge or they did not comply with the ruling by the tribunal and thus I would expect a ruling of this being proven on balance of probabilities.
Info would be before the tribunal
City went to commercial court to challenge the PL’s right to request what they viewed as sensitive commercial documents but lost they appealed the court’s decision to make the ruling public supported by PL but lost it was at this point that the investigation into City came out many months later the charges were announced Following the court ruling City would have supplied the documents or been in breach of court

They may not have an official ruling, but they'll have a pretty good idea of what the ruling will be... and judging off the clubs business in the last 12 months we must know its gonna go our way
They have been extremely confident from the very start of the investigation and nothing subsequently has changed their minds they have to play the long game you don’t hire a top legal team then start shouting your mouth off until the verdict is released

I will see your Catholics and raise you a council local to me.

They recently paid £35,000 to a contractor for clearing leaves on a street that doesn't have any trees.
I see your council and raise you the MOD, for whom my old engineering company provided pressure-relieving devices for the missile launch system on nuclear submarines. We were the sole bidder. Every year. As a guide, we charged them £37 per 6mm hexagon nut. They sent us the same, multi million pound order every year, regardless of whether they’d actually used the stuff from previous years.
Licence to print money.

That’s an awfully long sentence.

And this is the bit I dont understand with the whole Michelle Mone and others accused of providing sub-standard PPE to the NHS during Covid.

I get the market was impossible, prices were sky-high, no supply available so new people "appeared" to help supply goods, but if the price was agreed, if the product was sub-standard, why wasn't the product rejected and the goods not paid for. Sounds like an issue for NHS Procurement rather than Mone & Co...

WtF has this got to do with City and the FFP saga?

Hope the members of the “115” panel are not paid by the hour and can spin this out till 2030.

In which case our chairman will have a long wait to speak. Hope it’s not too late by

Still it’s only the future of the club at stake.

We bought a company who were supplying transmission belts to nhs wales, cost .75p sold a £15 each, we considerably reduced supply costs to the nhs, but lost the contract because we weren’t the registered supplier any longer they moved the business to the next on the list and continue to be ripped off … no wonder they are in the s**t !
The procurement process at the swamp during the Ferguson era would not stand up to much scrutiny.

Preferred suppliers list is nonsense.

This is indeed a case of insane profligacy, however I would point out that the nuts did actually exist, whereas the leaves were entirely fictitious.

Imaginary foliage trumps expensive nuts.
