Why aren't Newcastle, Villa etc not questioning why the red shirts can spend big money on players, but they can't? I would be extremely fucked off if I was the owner of these clubs.

Is this mainly due holding on to players for a season or two longer than we have, leaving little resale value?

I feel as though we are entering into this season with our hands tied…….unable to completely revitalise the squad with younger, fitter players because there are not sufficient places due to the above.

Peps choice or just the hierarchy taking their eye off the ball …….or a combination ?

You want the club to sell them in the middle of our treble and 4 in a row charge?

It’s just the cost of being successful.

Clubs around us have been chopping and changing and burning hundreds of millions chasing us the last decade but it won’t get spoken about, some just think it’s a computer game where you can ship Akanji and Gundogan to Saudi for 200m and then we can play Reis and Cherki instead

Assuming they are ambitious and most of these are. But another thing these rules do is make it very comfortable for owners who just want to squeeze cash out of the club. They have a ready made excuse for not investing.

Sorry, tried to catch up but is the discussion here that other teams spending big is in some way potentially related to the verdict of our hearing? If so, what does their spending levels imply about the verdict and how?
