PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Sorry everyone - I have not been pulling my weight - only posted 5 times on this thread in our efforts to make 10,000 pages.

I think we will get off scot free next month.
But then again we could be banged to rights in November

I also think that this view, and others, underestimates that the PL may have be acting in bad faith and not independently and, as such, the amount of time could also be a indication that the report is having to reflect on this in some detail. But surely the PL must feel they have a strong case - rather they have been bullied and cajoled?

I see it all the time in planning law. A council (often being leant on by interested parties) throws all it can to refuse a planning application no matter how ridiculous the argument, even ignoring its own experts' opinions. It then gets taken to public enquiry, uses experienced lawyers who are happy to take the case on, only for it to be thrown out after much public money has been wasted. The Planning Inspectorates reports are often quite scathing and detailed where time wasting and weak arguments have been put forward.

The Guardian article today adds further to this angle that most of us here believe, that the PL have been acting in the interests of a certain few.

Look at City Football Services or City Football Marketing on the CH website and you'll see a new set of names. The heavyweights are still in place higher up the chain (although still no sign of Soriano).

Numerous notifications of changes of directors

Given my previous and somewhat dramatic attempt to post this information seems to fallen flat, although I think most took it in good spirit, I'll try to post this in a more serious way. I've had a deluge of emails from Companies House (and they're still coming through) notifying the termination...

If acting honestly & independent it’s impossible to get the charges wrong in a press release that you then leak before telling the club. That was how quickly we realised it was a fu king sham.
