Going back years this same topic has come up in different guises. PLAY THE YOUTH they cry, the future of the club. Never mind that they wont be good enough to make the first team anyway. PLAY THE YOUTH.

Whatever did happen to Ade Mike? I've watched Angelino and if he becomes a first team regular I'll do a Paddy Ashdown with my hat. At left back anyway.

Madness

I'm not an avid watcher of the juniors, but when I've seen them recently they've looked a tad jaded, as if they'll glad when the season ends. When junioirs are promoted it has to be at the right time for them and in the right circumstances. As we saw with Pozo. Are there any juniors that at this moment are at the club, ready to make the step up and in top form?

i expect we will go full strength unless arsenal dont beat sunderland, in interviews i since the derby trying to get 2nd place and them setting it as the goal seems to come up regularly. to be honest, pellegrini will be thinking about his future and 2nd looks better than 3rd.
i was thinking that Bony has to play but at the same time wouldnt be surprised if we went for the same team that played swansea, who do you drop? yaya surely not after his performance last week, dinho or nando has to play, lampard has been doing well and its his last premier league game but he could be a sub i guess and the return of 4-4-2
demichelis probably wont play, hes going to copa america and imo has struggled in the last few games and needs a rest, kompany or rekik to partner mangala.
if arsenal beat sunderland then i kelechi might be on the bench if we are lucky, if they dont then i think all the players who are in tournaments this summer wont play

I had a dream last night that Kelechi started and scored after 4 minutes...

If he starts on Sunday I'm heading for the bookies

Unfortunately according to this it looks like he will be leaving for the Under 20 World Cup on Sunday morning so won't be available: http://sunnewsonline.com/new/?p=120116

Are you sure it wasn't Fernando in your dream?

Was definitely Nacho as I was telling the people I was watching it with to look out for him he was going to be a superstar just before he scored. If he does start Sunday I will definitely put some money on it

Denayer is currently our only hope, but one big problem is they dont have to be good enough to 'play in the Premier', but to play at the top European level to get in our team (and Chelsea etc). That Chelsea youth team is bloody good but not many of them will get a future place.

went to the EDS game on saturday against Southampton, and if we play any of our lot we will get stuffed !!! was'nt impressed
