Why can't people accept that Silva has been piss poor in recent weeks? It doesn't make you a bad fan, there's so many on here quick to slate Yaya, Sterling, De Bruyne yet when Silva puts in a turgid performance people make pathetic excuses for him.
Who doesn't accept he's had a dip in form since his return? I've not seen a single poster say that. "Piss poor" is certainly stretching it, especially if you bothered to watch the Sunderland game.
The fact everybody accepts he's not reached his early season form is precisely the purpose of the post. People's views on Silva fall in to 3 categories.
1. People who think he is a bit out of form, but think form is temporary, class is permanent, and we should support him because he will soon be back to his brilliant best.
2. People who think he should be "shipped on" that De Bruyne is a better player, we're a better team without Silva in it, and we should be looking to buy Isco or Sane, or whoever else is flavour of the month to replace him.
3. This group has never rated Silva, think he only passes sideways and can't wait to jump all over any mistake or bad game Silva has in some strange attempt to justify the frankly absurd assertion that Silva isn't a top player. This is the smallest group, containing only one man, you.
