Some of the criticism of Mangala today is a bit much

Thought he defended pretty well, but his distribution was iffy at times

If we hadn't tried walking it into the net for 90 mins and instead taken a few shots at an unknown keeper, we'd have won the game easily and nobody would be mentioning Mangala

Kind of agree. He mainly defended well, Lukaku skinned him a few times. He made a few sloppy passes when he was trying to play it out. All in all not a bad performance though.

He's shit beyond belief. Honestly he's a liability in our team and I doubt he's ever gonna live up to the billing of being "world class". Everyone thought Jovetic would be world class by now, people thought David luiz would be world class, people thought Balotelli would be world class..... Mangala gonna be the same.

I don t like it either, but let s give the man some credit.. perhaps he will turn up to be as good or even better than Boateng. Let s hope so!

You need to judge after a year really. Bluemoon has written many a good player off after 6 months.

Agreed. Demichelis was slated on here early doors. I had serious doubts and was made to eat my words.

Lets hope for a similar turnaround with Mangala.

One thing I will say in the negative column against Mangala is that many of us, me included, have slaughtered Sakho at the dippers however they are quite uncannily similar.

He's a 30m 24 year old. Not a young kid.

One thing I will say in the negative column against Mangala is that many of us, me included, have slaughtered Sakho at the dippers however they are quite uncannily similar.

Agreed, both have one thing in common though.... Being shit. I was so excited when he signed, for the money we paid I thought he'd be amazing but there's nothing in his game that has me believing he's anything special. Special talents you can spot from a mile off, he looks like a championship player most of the time.

Nah, don't be silly. He's got all the attributes required and will be a much better player next season, you forget how difficult most players find it to adjust to the Prem.
