Delph isn't weak. It's only a few months ago that Villa's midfield outplayed our at the Etihad - unless you think this was all down to Cleverly and Grealish.

Yes Delph is no Yaya but he's a good player!

£8m?!

He is the fucking bargain of the season at £8m! What the fuck do some people want for 8 fucking million?!

He will prove every single doubter wrong this season. We couldn't put Milner in centre mid because he was shit there, this guy has all the energy of Milner, better technically and can actually play centre mid!!

Some people need to get a fucking grip, jesus christ

i agree, when we played Villa he really stood out for them, As someone quoted earlier the ammount of ground he covers is exceptional. There are going to be plenty of times next season when we will need those legs to help dominate the midfield. He is the water carrier that we will need and i suspect people will be surprised by how much game time he gets.

Talking out of your arse pal,Delph has an excellent all round game......tenacity,strength and aggression coupled with decent passing ability,good vision and a Rolls Royce engine - oh,and he's still improving.

I personally think he is a good signing and I think he might play more than some people expect. What we have paid for him is an excellent piece of business!

All I hope is the people that are already slating him, give him 100% support every time he takes to the field for us.

I've said it a couple of times now but his U-turn took some balls.
 
Delph, Sterling and Hart - any more and English players and i may have to start watching England soon after a few years of self imposed exile (caused by roooooonnnneeeeeyyyyy moments as he over celebrates scoring a tap in against some country with a population half the size of Bolton)

I love the fact they still trot out that ''City ruining top young English talent.' line when not one has prospered since we let them go to where they are now playing regular football.

I think that's kind of their point...the theory goes that English players stagnate/plateau on City's bench which stunts their development and confidence.

And while Liverpool are paying Milner 150k a week to be their main centre mid, Delph will be a useful squad player.
