Can't play alongside Fernandinho as they don't communicate.

Looked generally good in the first half until they equalised.

I can't remember too much actual defending over the game though, which is no surprise in this Pellegrini team.

Spot on, there were worse than him even in the second half today.

I thought he was excellent up at Sunderland as well. Looked more mobile today than he did at any stage last season, so perhaps the groin op has done him a favour. Even 2nd half today, he was far from the worst out there. Sterling was fucking terrible, and Caballero and Dimichelis not much better

I'd probably put him with Sagna as the only defensive players who didn't embarrass themselves. Spurs didn't get much joy down the right or through the middle, unfortunately going down the left couldn't have been much easier for them. Looks a lot sharper than last season

Thought he was quite quiet. Didn't do much wrong, just wasn't involved enough.Him and Fernandinho stifle each other. You can't have them both in the same team
