Player topic: Jesus Navas (2014/15)

Very frustrating how he always needs a extra touch that loses him the extra yard his pace has earned and then nearly always hits the first defender. I think I've always only seen the best of him coming of the bench when he is fresh and can run at tired legs

His crossing is absolutely dreadful! Also with all that pace he never actually seems to take his man on and get past them?!?! Certainly should be replaced in the summer.

watch him when he crosses the ball he never ever looks up and hey presto guarantee it always its the 1st man,his corners are pathetic, runs over to take every corner and low and behold never gets past the 1st man,as soon as he went off we got a corner David Silva took it straight into the mixer and the keeper punches it away.Surely if us mere supporters can see this then why cant pellegrini

The amount of possession he had down our right today and all game only one cross of any value. Fucking dire. If we had a player of any ability there today I think we'd be looking at an entirely different result. Imagine someone like Robben, in fact scub that, imagine even that fucking rag Valencia with the ball in that position time and time again.
I like the guys effort but holy shit that was brainless from him today.

You know what? Even Clichy had better crossing stats than him! I mean Clichy FFS. (Not a knock on Clichy who I thought played well today)

For the umpteenth time this season: worked hard for the team, passed well, got into good positions...unacceptably poor final ball, can't cross to save his life, can't shoot, frustrating again!

Valencia wouldn't have that much possession. Navas has so much because of his pace but even big odd numbers doesn't work to make his successful crosses ratio any good.

If Brandon Barker doesn't get an opportunity mid-week then I'll be fucking livid. But we all know Pellegrini won't want to risk starting a promising youngster on fine form v a world class Championship side such as Boro so let's put that one to bed!!!
