Lopes is more like Nasri than Navas. Nasri has a greater resale value and Navas would be happier to be a squad player, certainly less disruptive anyway.

No chance Navas goes ahead of Nasri for me.

He is used as a rotational player and for a player of his ability it's not often players are happy with that. World Cup winner, Euro Winner, great attitude and commitment. Would be sad to see him go. And as others pointed out, he would only need replacing anyway.

I would keep him for one more year as a squad player, unless a tempting offer comes, but I doubt it.

Agree but if KDB comes in, we need to get rid of either Nasri or Navas. Going by recent comments of Nasri, he seems to be staying. Although, I personally prefer Nasri to be pruned from our squad, completely based on his sulking nature :( Even in the OS first training video he is sulkin around like a small kid whose candy is taken away from :/

It's impossible to not like this lad, no matter how frustrating it is when he can't beat the first man with a cross or just not quite using his place efficiently, he works his socks off 90 minutes every game and doesn't bat an eyelid when benched or subbed. Neither here nor there with him leaving but totally fine with him staying.
