Wilf has every attribute to succeed for us; I think he'll prove to be worth every penny if he's given a run in the team next season.

Only reason I can think of why he wouldn't be a success here is if Liverpool insist on taking him as part of a Sterling deal in the summer.

I hope so, he isn't what we want and is another example of Txiki's transfer bollocks.

Maybe Bony's value to City isn't defined by a 5 month period between January and May but by his overall value to the squad over the length of his 4 year contract?

Stunningly original idea I know, but just a thought.

Don't be ridiculous. He was bought to win us the title this season.

He will have to do a lot more, a lot, to prove that he is better than Dzeko

TBF that ain't going to hard. Dzeko has been nothing short of dreadful this season.

A powerful, robust striker, who holds the ball up,links play, causes the opposition nightmares and can score for fun......while looking like a great partner for Aguero......isn't what we want??

I disagree:-)

I don't think it will be hard for Bony to score more than 2 in 23 and look like he gives a shit! Job done!

Sorry to let facts get in the way of a good bit of Dzeko-bashing, but Bony has 1 goal from 5 games and Dzeko has 4 from 21 in the Prem. So if their records are basically the same with Dzeko not giving a shit and Bony (presumably) bleeding blue every minute he's on the field, imagine what would happen if we got a manager who could actually motivate Dzeko.

Bony has played approximately 220 mins for us,over 5 games, during which he was thrown into a team that has been badly out of form, lacking cohesion and momentum, and struggling for morale.....basically the worst environment a new player could encounter.......and yet some of you think it's enough to make a fair judgement on his ability and impact?

The notion is ludicrous.
