Possible new stadium - some interesting information

Just received a message from Etisalat-City news service:

"Manchester City plans to make Eastlands stadium the biggest stadium in Premier League"

also (not related to the thread) "Manchester City and Inter Milan in discussions to bring Mario Balotelli to the Citizens"

" Manchester City to battle United for Hamburg defender Jerome Boateng"

they are obv just telling you whats been on goal etc this weekend pal.

I don't think so, as Etisalat is one of the main sponsors for the club
I doubt they will spread the rumors via their sms news service.

All i knwo is there going to make it into an 80,000 seater. Not sure we have that many fans in manchester though :l

There might be a new one but not 100,000.

What size stadium do reckon we could fill ? I was thinking about 60,000 but why go to all that trouble to build a new ground just for an extra 13,000 seats.

we already have the land, so not as expensive as others, if you look at arse for example, they are generating a lot of money, there are plenty of options to turn eastlands into another sporting event, cricket, athletics or something like that.

Lancashire could do with a new cricket gound its not up to test matched standard, that would get my vote
