Poznan instead of booing of Champions League anthem at the start!

Indeed.

At this point there is absolutely no benefit to booing the anthem. City and UEFA are now (strained) allies by all accounts, Ilkay has indirectly said it doesn’t help the players, and Pep has come straight out and said we shouldn’t be doing it any more.

The booing does nothing at best, and hurts the club and players at worst.

Yes true, i dislike UEFA as much as the next blue and it seems like a lot of other fanbases dislike them too.
But i love City much more than i dislike UEFA, time to get behind the lads now , COME ON CITY.

The same for me. UEFA is still a corrupt organisation that needs razing and building back up from a new foundation, but I love and care more about City far more than I despise UEFA, and will defer to what they know to be best moving forward (I imagine that is to try to affect change via direct influence now).

UP THE BRILLIANT BLUES!

UEFA can kiss my fucking arse. 2 hours in a cab from the airport this morning, 2 hours on the bus (so far) to the stadium. Yenikapi was shite, massive queues for food & beer.

Fucking joke having it here.

No, I would prefer that everyone exercised free will and did what they think is right irrespective of what Pep and Gundogan says.
How far does this “free will” extend. Should the players also ignore Pep’s instructions and Ilkay’s leadership on the pitch? Or is it just the fans that should say “Fuck the club, the manager, and the players”?

How is booing ufea better or more important than us winning treble??? We can boo and feel good for 2 secs but if players need the postive energy & we win treble, we will remember this moment for rest of our lives!! Pep and players' said they only want postive energy!
How is a 2 second boo followed by 90 mins of passionate Manchester City fans roaring on Pep’s glorious first 11 complete with renditions of Bluemoon and The Greatest Football Team the World has Ever Seen going to impact them negatively??? It hasn’t stopped them ripping Real and Bayern apart. This is a case where you CAN have your cake and eat it.

Hence why I inserted the phrase “what they think is right”. Anyone that thinks your last statement is clearly not a city fan and will not go to the effort and expense of being there today. Not sure where you brought the players into your argument, they should do what they are told or leave.

I hate ufea and support the booing but not in this case, arguably the most important match in the history of our club when the coach and players' have explicitly asked us not to boo.
But if you still think you should boo then go ahead. There is no right or wrong just my perspective!!
