Poznan instead of booing of Champions League anthem at the start!

Hence why I inserted the phrase “what they think is right”. Anyone that thinks your last statement is clearly not a city fan and will not go to the effort and expense of being there today. Not sure where you brought the players into your argument, they should do what they are told or leave.
Because it's pointless, UEFA probably couldn't give a fuck, those you are supporting would prefer no booing. So UEFA who do'n't care or the payers and manager you are supporting, you're choice. I know which side I'd be on if I was lucky enough to be there.

Because it is selective “free will”.

And anyone booing at the match today is essentially saying “Fuck the club, the manager, and the players”, as they all have said the booing does not help them and they don’t want the fans to do it anymore.

Not to mention booing serves no constructive purpose at this point. UEFA already know how the fans feel about their treatment of the the club in the past, the club has moved past it and are trying to no doubt affect change via direct influence at UEFA rather than adversarial action, and booing just makes that more difficult.

Fans booing actively works against the goals of the club (and the players, based on what our own captain has said).

Not sure how much clearly fans could say “fuck the club, the manager, and the players” than still booing at this point.

Fair enough, I not so sure UEFA don’t care though. This is their showpiece to be beamed around the world, they will not like it spoiled in anyway.

It'll be booed to fuck, most there will have been on the lash since yesterday at least, they'll not remember about the Poznan

That is just an interpretation. I am pretty confident that if any booer is questioned after the game they will not say that and they will not think that and they will not mean that. I have no doubt that your premise of the club trying to influence UEFA differently holds credence, however you can’t expect every fan to let the governing body off that lightly.

Let UEFA OFF for what. Have UEFA done anything the Premier league haven't? Yet we never boo the PL anthem.

I know no blue is thinking that, but that is essentially what booing is saying at this point. The club, the manager, and the players have all said they don’t want the fans to boo the anthem anymore, so doing it is in practice saying “fuck off” with your request.

And I don’t think we’ve let them off lightly. We’ve made it abundantly clear what we think about them and what they have done to the club. But that situation is—according to the club and Pep—over now and the club needs the fans to support their work on and off the pitch moving forward.

Not everyone may like it but surely ever blue wants to support the club in the way they are reasonably asking?

And, to be clear, I used to boo, as well. If I ever get to attend another match again I won’t be doing it, though, to respect the club’s, Pep’s, and the player’s wishes.

Because, if we aren’t there to support them, what’re we there for?

No, they haven’t. Maybe fans will decide to boo the PL anthem for the same reason. I loved that “investigate this” banner with the blue finger. You clearly know why some fans still boo.
