PSG ticket prices - Protest options v West Brom.

What would happen if there was a freeze on ST but single match tickets went up? Would ST holders be willing to join some type of protest for that? I only ask because most replies have been about ST, but not everyone can be a ST holder. There needs to be equal outrage over both prices imo. I've seen a few replies from those who have been priced out of ST and now can't afford to go very often because the single match tickets are too expensive.

I think that a rise in single tickets could be a problem for season ticket holders too. if people are still buying tickets at a higher price then that may tempt the club to reduce numbers of season tickets to make more tickets available for matches, or nudge the price of them up a little closer to the single tickets.

i gave up my season ticket last year due to not being able to make all the games because for various reasons. i had the intention of getting down to matches when i could but the price of tickets for individual matches has made this less of an possibility than i would have liked. the idea of paying over £50 for a match is something ive struggled with.

This would lead to more people who can't/don't want to go to all the games picking up the cheaper season tickets, and leaving their seats empty for some games. The costs of season tickets and match day tickets need some sort of balance, and that should mean reducing single ticket costs.

I don't want prices to go up for anyone, but the cost of reducing match day tickets could be offset by increasing the £299 tickets by £50 or so (still less than £20 a game) and add a bit onto the corporate boxes - they could charge the players more for their boxes for a start.

ultimately there is no need for any of the tickets to go up though, its not like the club have to worry about making up a shortfall somewhere, especially with the increased tv money, extra prize money and sponsorship coming in these days. this is where the bad feeling comes from i think, the fact that clubs have never been so well off but are still using match going fans to bump up their income when it really isnt necessary.

I would have thought people would have been queing up for a free ticket in 93:20 .am sur eif they went to Witherspoons orMary ds with them there would be no shortage of takers

Mary Ds might be might be my venue of choice for "entertaining clients" but I'm not sure that's where the Companirs who have bought rows of £1,250 season cards wish to go!

On a personal level, I gave away a free ticket for the Aston Villa game to help out a Blue.

Wasn't even anywhere near full for the derby, certainly the bit in the CB stand.

I was in the CB Premium Seats for the Kiev game. there was quite a mixture of youth team players, a school group, traditional Blues and a few tourists. This may be atypical compared to League games but could indicate that the Club struggle to sell some Premium seats.

I am usually in 209 (ES Level 2) that is usually fairly full for League games with the odd spare seat. It was full for the Derby but there were some rags on the row behind - who kept their heads down. Few of the people with season cards buy cup tickets in 209.

I'm below you so can't see the East Stand but I can see the Colin Bell and 222 was, at best, two-thirds full (and that's being generous).
