PSG ticket prices - Protest options v West Brom.

I'm below you so can't see the East Stand but I can see the Colin Bell and 222 was, at best, two-thirds full (and that's being generous).

It's always a bit strange to me when seats that have been bought are left empty and that happens near me.

I'm terms of sales, the Pep factor could shift some 93:20 seats but I think some of the current occupants will move to cheaper parts of the ground this Summer. Giving away game ticket priority to Joe's (who are in fairness paying a lot more) reinforced the fact that people in 93:20 are paying a lot for good seats - but with no other benefit than a programme.

If the North Stand expansion doesn't commence this year then I think it will be more to do with problems selling Corporate and Premium seats rather than filling a bigger North Stand.

Get yourself watching the Mighty Darlo.....that said with the amount of games they have to play in April it will probably cost you more than City!Im doing a few Darlo games on the run in so give me a pm if you are coming down to check if mines free if it helps.

Ive made it to a few games this year, will be a hectic run in though, especially if any more games get called off! good news about the move back into town next year too.

Mary Ds might be might be my venue of choice for "entertaining clients" but I'm not sure that's where the Companirs who have bought rows of £1,250 season cards wish to go!

On a personal level, I gave away a free ticket for the Aston Villa game to help out a Blue.
And that is the route of the problem regarding the sort of fans going to the game no City fan would refuse a freebie in at lounge and i salute you for giving your ticket away

It is....just hope they do move back to Darlington this time.I tend to do aways, done a couple of homes but its a trek as you know.

Never read so much shite in my life.

People like me have been arguing that ticket prices nationally are a joke for years, and that City's prices have been growing out of control for years.

Meanwhile clowns like you have been using FFP to justify the increases every season, with waning credibility every year. You even have the temerity to suggest that the only reason people are expressing criticism of the club's pricing policy is because it's directly affecting their attendance/preventing them from going?

You've got some fucking nerve.

It isn't true. And for what it's worth, the only reason you don't give a toss is because people like you are personally unaffected and you have little to no empathy for your fellow blues, and you place little to no value on the importance of retaining our core support in the face of these increases. You can't see past your own nose.

You mistakenly think that opposition to price increases mean opposition to our ownership and thus a desire for City to be shite again.

Your rationale is fucking bizarre and I'm tired of seeing clowns like you hijack discussions like this when well meaning blues are trying to make an effort to help everyone pay less, to stop this club's supporters being treated like passive customers with no value to the club, and no stake in its future.

You're complicit in modern football being the way it is, and all the rest of you nodding dog apologists who think being critical of the policies of club employees like Soriano make you less of a blue. You're nothing more than a useful idiot to the likes Soriano and Glick.

The discontent of thousands of ordinary match going blues is something that has been well received by the press and other neutrals, this is an issue that the whole country is talking about at present, and most football supporters can empathise with. The reaction to the talk of a protest here was overwhelmingly positive and supportive from outside sources.

But within our own ranks we have people like you to contend with, determined to absolutely denigrate anyone who makes an effort towards that positive change for every supporter's benefit?

Makes me completely and utterly sick to be honest.

Charming
You want to try reading some of your own bollox then.

People like you, people like me!!!

You know fuck all about me but want to come on here belittling me and calling me a clown !!

Reading your judgments on everyone who has a slightly different view from you seems to me you form opinions about people without even taking into considerations there opinions even when they have supported the principle, ffs me Mam used to say something about causing a argument in a empty room ; I know what she meant now.

You come across as a bit of a arrogant tit in my opinion , "look at me fighting the good cause on behalf of all you poor guys out there"
What a load of shite..
What have you done to fight price increase all these years!! I bet it's a big fuck all
Now you want to slate fans because they don't agree with dragging the club through the shit..

I can honestly say that I'm more of a opinion now that not alining myself with people like you is defenetley the best way for me and I'm less interested in your plight now then I ever was and think if I sat next to you I'd be happy paying a extra £20 per game if it meant pricing you out.

It's a shame the whole cause is being dragged down by people like yourself ..

You can do all of the above without damaging the reputation of your own club. If you believe there is a problem with ticket prices it is a football problem not an MCFC problem. Instead you seem willing to drag your own club through the mud and damage our chances in arguably one if the biggest games in our history. Frankly it's you who disgusts me.

I agree. The last thing I want to do is give the vultures in the media more shit to throw at us. there are other ways of bringing discontent to the attention of the club without letting the whole world know. We were the first club to introduce a £299 ticket; we haven't had news of next seasons ticket prices & our CL prices are similar to the other top 5 European clubs - apart from Germans who are heavily sponsored irrespective of FFP rules. The club on the whole, have done little wrong and the first time there is a grievance with them the reaction of some is to walk out.

I just can't do that to the team.

This isnt the first stage of discontent, it's been brewing for a while now.

It may be a football wide problem, but like it or not our club is part of that problem.

I agree. We could probably sellout season tickets for a third tier in the North Stand, with cheap pricing, purely by taking up those left on the original Waiting List who only wanted the £299 and £399 seats. The expansion will probably only be justified financially though if we have the demand to turn the north side of the CB and the East stands into premium seats. That demand is probably not there currently.

look, football has gone dear. end of. they are providing a product, if we want that product we pay, just like in any other walk of life. its not just our club or our owner. I bet though there are many a fan at other clubs would kill for we have, for what we watch and the competitions we play in year in year out. doesn't make it any cheaper but its the truth. I pay up albeit grudgingly cos It was still dear when we were fucking shite.
