The general idea of a walkout protest is good and I'd support it in principle, unless the game meant something in potential trophy terms. End of the day most of us are mercenaries when it comes to City winning things.
Ask PB about this. There needs to be some sort of supporters union not the self interest club.
Has tomorrow actually sold out yet? The OS implies that there are still some tickets available. Has the boycott begun early?
I couldn't agree more
But we have loads of supporters club sycophants on here telling us how brilliant they are. About time they put their money where their mouth is and get this organised and take the club on.
Otherwise what's the point in having them?
Ric has no more sway as any of the rest of us individuals do. As a whole, collective voice moving in the same direction then we are powerful. We are all responsible if we do nothing and those who say they will pay are just opening themselves up for a ticket that will one day cost £150. Let's get the support back to what it should be and that's people on a normal working wage ! Be it £6.50 an hour or whatever ! Local people to the club should be able to watch their local team with their children. It shouldn't be a luxury but an escape from the working week and time together with family, isn't that how it all started in the first place ?My apologies mate, you didn't elaborate last time this came up, and part of me took it as a dismissal. Like you said, I don't know you personally, so I can only go off the impression I get online.
I hope you recognise that I'm coming from the right place though, it's not my intent to potentially upset you at a delicate time. Hope there was no harm done.
I must be a girl, I multitasked watchI got us win the Grand Slam whilst asking the only supporters organisation we have to take the issue to the clubI have just put my Supporters Club prayer mat away lol!
I've have had a welcome breather from Let's All Hate the Club Day, watching the Six Nations finale. Yes those guys who saved our Club from going bust when we we didn't have a pot to piss in and were run by a Thai Dictator. How terrible these business l people wish to see a long term return on their investment after all they've done for us. If Only we could have got the Glazers instead!!
I've never met the Head of the Supporters Club and I agree that ticket prices are too high. I would be happy to join a decent protest but it is up to those Blues who feel the strongest to lead the way - and not just come out with the good ideas.
Tomorrow is the biggest day of the season. I know all Bluemooners will be 100 percent behind the team when they need us most!
This for meWE ARE NOT SCOUSERS .
