From what I understand he wanted a pay raise and guaranteed football. He was trying to leverage some old performances, his stats, and his marketability as an England star. Those last 2 seasons with us, sure he still scored a few goals,and made a contribution to our success.

Many of his performances were really bad,his effort levels on the Pitch,where he couldn't be arsed tracking back etc.Has he forgot all that ?

Pep stuck with him right until the end,even when many fans were done with him.

He hasn't bad mouthed City, he's made it clear that he was pissed off with the way a couple of people at the club handled the situation.

He for no reason pisses off all City fans who actually liked him. His ex-City teammates will probably be baffled by this as well.

I don't see how Chelsea fans would care for any of these comments, does nothing positive for them.

And he actually personally comes off kind of pathetic talking about how he sacrificed for the team missing birthdays and such even though he played over 3000 minutes and is paid extremely well, talk about privledge.
