"The time is not right for him to move, but if he wants to move the club should sell him. If he goes to Manchester City, to give himself a chance of winning the league, he will not become a regular for them. We have seen it with players in the past like Scott Sinclair."

John Barnes speaking on Radio 5.

Ffs no wonder he has never had a career in management.

Ah, but without his piss poor efforts as manager at Tranmere, Jamaica and Celtic we never would have got that ultimate headline of " Super Cally go ballistic, Celtic are atrocious". Yep thats his doing !

The only reason he hasn't got far in management is because everyone in football is racist.

It's nothing to do with the fact that he has failed everywhere he has gone.

Man gets more and more deluded each day.

Gooner at work reckons that Sterling nailed on for them as his agent said he's a London boy at heart and Chelski have more than enough wingers.

If he goes to Arsenal its a case of jumping out of the frying pan and straight into the fire as far as im concerned.

The lad wants Trophies.

Arsenal will be a force to reckon with next season.
He'll get a hefty pay rise there as well, and a top flat in London.

Anyone dismissing Arsenal going forward is very naïve. They'll build on this year again and add a top player or two.

With FFP now null and void the gap between us will widen over the next few years...They cannot compete with us when we are off the financial leash and players that fancy London will always find Chelsea more attractive so they will scrap for their cast offs too

They wont compete with us or Chelsea.

Take that to the bank.

for an attack based team like City ,Sterling would be great, dont think Liverpool will sell though they will have to give him what he wants eventually
