good comments.....I agree Sterling can only keep improving, injury free there is no reason he cant be a world class player in the next 3 or 4 years.... I forget how young he still is.....I just read a daily star comment(these guys must sit around just making stuff up) that says Jovetic would be happy to move as part of a swap deal for Sterling....never going to happen but that would be seem really strange seeing Jovetic AND Milner in the red shirt of Liverpool......

Daily Star: Stevan Jovetic would be happy to move to Liverpool as part of a swap deal
I'd gladly give 20m + jovetic for Sterling or something less.

People need to understand that Raheem Sterling is 20.
Thats 20 years old.
Lets look at other top players when they were 19/20 years old
Messi - 26 games - 14 goals
C.Ronaldo - 33 games - 5 goals
Bale - 16 games - 0 goals
Reus - 17 games - 1 goal

Sterling
18/19 - 33 games - 9 goals
19/20 - 33 games - 7 goals
The only player with better goal stats at that age was Messi in a Barca team.
Sterling plays in a team full of losers fighting for 6th place...
Im not saying he is going to be Messi/ Ronaldo standard. My point being that he is only young and can only improve.
In the coming years if he signed for us he will be physically stronger, more experienced and playing with better players.
I think he would be a fantastic signing.
Where's that clapping GIF which TCIB uses?

I think we are forced into buying Sterling tbh due to the HG quota. Otherwise he would be nowhere near the top of my list. Reus, De Bruyne, Griezmann all represent much better value. Even if you take into account other players such as Draxler, Felipe Anderson and Patrick Herrmann for example, they would be a lot cheaper than Sterling and would probably be just as good if not better.

Either way, the lad will not be worth his price tag, thats for sure.

Liverpool will not sell Raheem Sterling to Manchester United

Liverpool will not sell Raheem Sterling to Manchester United, Sky sources understand.

Liverpool insist Sterling is not for sale, to United or any other club, but with the England winger set on leaving Anfield, a large bid may test their resolve.

Reports on Friday suggested United were potentially interested on signing Sterling, and that Sterling is open to the idea of becoming the first Liverpool player since Allenby Chilton in 1938 to swap Anfield for Old Trafford.

Seems Skysports can't make up it's mind in that article. Who do they love more the Rags or Dippers. I think the link to utd is rubbish at best.

Scouser I know says a rumour doing the rounds is that the dippers have offered him to arsenal in exchange for Gibbs and Walcott...he does say it's rumour.

I don't think he's done fuck all wrong,he wants to move because he wants to win medals, plenty players do it,he ain't gonna win fuck all at liverpool, they're in decline.
I'd say liverpool are dragging him through the mud.
Most top players carry baggage especially in their early 20s. Clubs always try to marry there stars off so they settle down.
I do think that over the next few season Sterling will have his share of bad press but it must be difficult being in your early 20s and learning how to live a life where everyone does everything for you, most birds through themselves at you and money doesn’t matter as you have so much. Your basically being set up to be a wanker of a person.

He's been to court twice in the last 3 years for assault against women, I'd say we're right to have reservations about his character.

The only 2 people better than raheem that you have mentioned in that list our Reus and Griezmann and both of those are a few years older, there is every chance that raheem could surpass both of them by the same age of either with the right team around him.
As far as being forced into buying him cos he is homegrown you may be right but then if there was no hg rule and we didn't need him he would be a lot cheaper and would prob be the best value out of any mentioned.
