The first line should read 'If you were Sheikh Mansour & your daughter has seen her dream car..' Or 'If your daughter has seen her dream car & it's worth 1p but the owner is asking for 2p, would you pay it ?'.

If she thought the car was going to improve what she's trying to achieve and help her get further than she's been before.
If she knew she could possibly sell it on at a later date and make money on it,barring a major breakdown.
If she knew it was probably the best available for the job she needed it to do.
Then yes,I'd pay a bit over the odds.......it's worth the gamble,IMO.

I think that Liverpool are very brave or just stupid holding out for £50 mil. If we walk away from this deal & Sterling stays for another year his value will be around £20mil with one year left on his contract. Or Sterling sits it out for two years & walks away on a free.
