No sh*t .... congratulation Bamba on stating what everybody is aware of 'All the big clubs in Europe have tapped players up for years' not condescending at all ......

You asked "do we do business like that".......I answered.

dickhead ... are you about 12?

Dunno what your problem is....." It's not unusual",meaning EVERY fucker is at it,as you even suggested.
As for me being 12.....are you now tapping me up?

I don't even think this will be a saga in the summer, I think this deal will be completed quite early. Liverpool know he's going and will let him go for a decent fee, no way will they risk Sterling only having one year left.

Sterling to be a Manchester City player by the end of July.

I don't know. I still think there will be a lot of posturing to help convince their fans they're still a big club, and don't just give up meekly to plastic upstarts like City. Either that or a full on character assassination of Sterling leaving Liverpool fans suddenly glad to be rid of him.

The posturing will be the nonsense they peddle about Jimmy Milner being better for their team than Sterling, and how Milner turned down money for the lure of history.

I fully expect an all out pr war with Liverpool this Summer, and we'll take their golden boy as the first shot. Don't be surprised if we take Glen Johnson to supplement the squad and enquire about Henderson and possibly Sturridge, just to rattle their cages.

I think that already started with the smoking videos being leaked to the press.

The timing of those videos being released was very suspicious, a week or two after Sterling's BBC interview which Liverpool clearly didn't approve of.

Rodger's comments about Liverpool being bigger than City came across as a snide dig to Sterling, a very bitter comment about a transfer which I think is well underway.

I very much doubt Liverpool will allow Sterling to run his contract down until he has one year left, he has no desire to stay, so a sale this summer is inevitable IMO. Especially when Liverpool are struggling with FFP, no CL football next season ether.

It's clear we've spoken to Sterling, I'd be surprised if terms with the player aren't close to being agreed already.

I'm not saying he'd feature, but think of it as a Scott Sinclair/quota filling signature. Don't forget he's free.

I thought this. Managers dont usually comment on this sort of stuff and he named us specifically. He knows whats going on and is making bitter comments. Oh well...
He's known for months that we're the club in for Sterling.

yep and you can see the shift in the media now towards sterling he's not a great player he's a greedy druggy and its Coutinho who is pfa which is a joke..

Coutinho has had a (much) better season than Sterling.

Obviously somebody's already tapped this guy up .... Do we do business like that?? According to rumours we did with Sagna

I'll happily place a bet with anyone that he doesn't join another English club this summer. He might two summers from now, but it won't happen this summer.
