As with most of us,the underlying concern is ,after the first leg when we were streets ahead in footballing terms,we still have only one goal advantage. Mind you ,to me KDB has that look of V.K. and will not to denied.

I once posted Bony was a top signing!!

With regards this game, I am not even nervous.

A vastly superior team in every way and if we turn up, we win, it really is that simple.

More worried about the impact on Newcastle and Wolves games.
Tolmie, you've posted over 20000 posts, I must have missed your 'Bony is a top signing' one.. Ha!

FWIW, I liked him at Swansea and thought he'd turn out good for us too, what do I know eh..!

Anyway, we've got every chance to proceed to the final tomorrow.

We've got ourselves into a great position and more of the same that we produced last week should be enough..

Really hope so..!

Whether they reach the final or not, Villareal just showed us we can lose to Real Madrid and get knocked out. Its going to be a very tough game and we need to hit them hard from the beginning and nullify V Junior and Benz!

I will take a draw right now but a win would be sweet however this is not going to be an easy game

At the time, Wilfried Bony was a top signing. He'd been on fire at Swansea and I doubt that anyone would have thought at the time that he wouldn’t be a success at City.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, as they say!

As for tomorrow night, I'm not remotely worried. If we play reasonably well, we will win. On an average day, City are easily the best team in world football.

Keeping our eye on the PL is far more important for me.

He was a big fish in a small pond there

Just in from watching dippers game with a few of them (good while it lasted ).
Once they equalised all they could go on about was RM doing us tomorrow and they in turn will batter RM.
What it really meant was they don't want us in the final because they know we will turn them upside down.
Come on City do the business.

its that second half vs Atletico that makes me worried a bit.

we lost the ball almost every time we had it and had to defend much more for that reason. which we did but there were couple of close situations and thy did not have as much quality upfront as Real.

controlling the game is a nice idea, very hard to do it vs a pressing team that is fighting for their life especially at this level...

we need our best passing tomorrow, accurate passes, offering an options, make the runs. none of those arrogant passing in the back from Ederson.
i would hate nothing more than lose out on the CL due to a misplaced pass between keeper and defence at the back or some shit like Steffen pulled in FA semis.

Foden-Jesus-Mahrez front three is almost certain
with KDB-Bernardo-Rodri midfield.
Cancelo-Laporte-Dias-Walker probably the defence.

Ancelotti and Modric both said they need to defend much better, wonder how different their system will be given they are a goal behind as well.

hope we have a clinical night, would be so nice to have 3 chances all game but scoring 3 of those. along with a clean sheet lol.
