There is no chemistry between Dias and La Porte.

Not making excuse for Dias, but La Porte situational awareness under any sort of pressure is shocking. He is an accident waiting to happen. We get away with it most weeks because most teams don't have the ability to hurt us.

We had that Dias/Stones partnership where we went a dozen games without conceding even a Goal. La Porte returned from injury, Pep broke up the partnership and chemistry and we started conceding Goals again.

Really don't rate La Porte never have.

I’ve only looked at aymeric as a back up option within our centre backs including Ruud Gullit (Ake). Looking back I wish Ake would’ve partnered Dias tonight

Don’t talk shit. Motivation is a huge factor in any sport. You need to be more motivated than your opponent. Any successful team or individual has that. Motivation comes from within but top managers/leaders make you realise it when you need it most.

I agree about Laporte but also I don’t think Dias is as good as we think either. Stones is head and shoulders our best centre back.

This is a good point actually. We have arguably been the best side in the world since 2017, and have no european trophies to show for it. Our planning, structure and financial muscle should assure us being up there for the forseeable but it really have been a huge missed opportunity.

Totally agree. Considering we have been favourites for the CL for how many years.. We have failed thus far. It worries me a bit that we are missing our time in the sun if that makes sense. We have the best team and manager out there..: yet are failing in Europe.

I just want us to win one.. just to shut everyone the fuck up more the anything else lol.

I don't think it's simple but we managed the game against Atletico we should have been more than capable of doing so here. I'm not sure anyone here has forgotten any of our records, they aren't relevant to today's performance anyway.

Im sure the atmosphere for tge players was unreal. The tension..i know the best cope but it must take something to keep trying like the lads did today.
