Everyone should have a Volvo. Most popular car in Prestwich.
I had an XC90 for a while. So many things went wrong with it, I got rid of it after less than a year.
A shame as they’re lovely cars and Volvo have a reputation for reliability.
I was just unlucky.

OK, I thought I'd provide an update for my fanbase in here.
I have so far been for a test drive in the following cars:
VW T-Roc
Skoda Karoq
Volvo XC40
Volvo is in the lead so far.
Watch this space for exciting updates.
Of those definitely the Volvo. It’s at least a vaguely interesting car.
They’re all crossovers - why the fuck is every new car a sodding crossover - but it’s a lot nicer than the other two hateful heaps of shit on that list.

I drive an old shape XC90, ancient now and will have to get rid soon for the emissions etc but that's the only reason, could probably do another 100k hassle free. The independent Volvo guy who's serviced it for years reckons the 2nd generation XC90s have been a nightmare until fairly recently. Electrical systems and build quality meant lots were in and out of the garage all the time. Apparently they sorted it and much improved now.
