In two weeks time when Kimpany is on the sidelines and Johnson is playing, the FA will have us all believe that the competition is a fair one.

No chance, I will be astounded if Johnson doesn't get a ban for that. He could've crippled Joleon, there. The evidence is right here and Johnson's is much worse. He jumps up into the air before coming down with both feet, studs showing, he even caught a piece of Lescott. Vinny more or less slides with his feet in front of him.

Let's say it ws Johnson instead of Kompany that fouled Nasri and let's say that instead of Johnson it was Kompany that had gone in like that on Gerrard.

The two cases should be treated exactly the same.

If Johnson missed nearly 5 matches and Kompany missed 0 the scousers would have every right to feel aggrieved.

But I feel you are arguing just for the sake of it now, don't know why but if you genuinely think we don't have any reasons to be disappointed then please try and explain to me why that is.

Simply enforces the opinion that referees can have a huge influence on the outcome of the league and cups. That is what is wrong.

I can't see how the FA cannot take retrospective action. Clearly the ref saw it, but chose not to act, which opens the door for the FA Disciplinary Comittee to charge Johnson.

It's another example of how superior rugby is to football.

Johnson would be referred to the Citing Commissioner and receive a 3 match ban.

The ref saw it and didn't think it was bad. The FA can't take action because the ref saw it.
