i was at the game and fucking fuming BUT after seeing the incident in the clip on this thread he clearly blows for a foul, at that point it’s my understanding he cannot allow play on cos the ball is dead. But for whatever reason he allowed Haaland to play a moving ball, realises he has fucked up and pulls back play. The referee is lazy and incompetent, but probably not corrupt, just shit.

He clearly doesnt blow initially. What do some people see…!? Haaland clearly didnt take a free kick/moving ball which you have made up from somewhere. I suggest you watch the clip from Sky again who clearly demostrate when he blew. Ive taken a still from the video to help educate you!!

I challenge anyone to find one other example of a referee signalling advantage, then stopping play to give the foul. You won't find one in any professional game, anywhere in the world, at any point in the history of football. I guarantee that you won't find one.

I see it every week, that’s still the guidance as far as I’m aware for grass roots refs anyway.

As many on here have alluded to in the past we have to do the job ourselves as we get little or no help from officials. Pep has as good as made the same point himself.

We can't say for sure if we would have won all the games but the officials have screwed us over in three we have dropped points in. Wolves away, Liverpool at home and today. The one today defied belief, it was blatant corruption in my mind and that Hooper twat needs investigating.

I don't typically join in with the conspiracy theory nutjobs but that decision today has no valid explanation other than corruption. The refs routinely make shit calls but they do so knowing they can hide behind subjective views or if the worst comes to the worst they can just claim "human error" and you can't really argue with it.

You can't do any of that with that decision though. Pep should have took the fine and made a lot of noise about it to make sure it doesn't get swept under the rug. It needs explaining because even the apologist pundits that want city to fail couldn't muster up a semi-viable explanation for it in their defence.

I'm really not into the "everybody is out to get city" narrative but in my eyes that's a deliberate attempt at tampering with the result.

He saw Haaland was off balance so let it go thinking he would fuck it up. His plan backfired when he played a perfect pass putting Grealish clean through on goal. The bent baldy twat then blows for a foul.

Now I’ve seen it on the big screen, not my phone, I can’t see how it’s a mistake, about to blow for a foul on Erling he clearly changes his mind, and indicates so by not blowing and raising his arm in a play-on gesture, when he sees Erling get back up and make the pass. For some reason only, know by him, he then decides to blow
The audio has to be released immediately before it’s doctored and Webb can stick any apology up his arse
That’s the two worse decisions this season both to the benefit of spuds

There’s no excuse for that. That’s just a ridiculous brain fade, at best, OR something else ??
We’ve not had decisions go our way all season apart from maybe a soft penalty at Chelsea.
Bottom line, as Pep says , intimates, we have to be a lot better than the others just to win.
Having said that, we are scoring enough regardless, we need to start defending well asap otherwise the season will get away from us.
