Some see it for what it is and it’s basically cheating or trying to manipulate an outcome in a game,why wasn’t burn booked,or Bruno g not given a second yellow it’s all about trying to get in the players minds and disrupt and frustrate them..in other words hoping City don’t come away from a game with 3 points when the game is tight ..

It’s not a disgrace, he hasn’t affected the result in any way. He should have booked a couple more of their players, granted.

I’m not sure Guimares was a second yellow card. The tariff is generally higher for a ref to give those. See Kovacic at Arsenal.

The linesman was a dick, at first he followed the rules, don't flag, because of the injury he started flagging and then he stopped. The players didn't know what was happening. My main anger is the bookings. You simply cannot book Bernie whilst letting theirs off. All we want is a ref to be fair, he wasn't.

I thought the tackle on Doku before Newcastle scored one of their goals should’ve been a free kick, but they weren’t going to pull it back for the same reason they didn’t for the Dias on Gordon challenge before Bernardo’s goal, atleast the ref was consistent.
The biggest issue is the playing on after an obvious offside, time for semi automated offside technology to come in now surely

what we /i want is consistency, u cant give different outcomes for EXACTLY the same things, thats what infuriates fans and calls into question the integrity of refs, its the whole well if that happened outside the penalty area it would be a freekick, well its a fecking penalty aint it or the age old adage you dont get those at klanfield or the swamp, why cos refs are bias and not doing their job and not only do refs, media etc admit it, they laugh about it, corruption is so rife and endemic that they think its funny while they sit and hide while getting paid handsomely for being unable to do their job to the standards that it requires.

thats the problem he wasnt consistent, he didnt book burn for scything down rodri when he was breaking towards goal and then literally minutes later books bernardo for exactly the same thing, if anything burns was worse as hes done him from behind

that is literally what people are asking for and why their integrity is consistently called into question but they are too myopic and entrenched in corruption to see it, they remind me of third world dictators who think that their people love them because they simply hide from any reasonable debate and criticism
