Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

That, compared to the lack of action against Chelsea players shows the bias/corruption.
Some dim bastard from the bbc said about Casimero it was because the 2 fouls were too close together, that's why he didn't get a second yellow. Corruption in plain sight.
The media are complicit i whater the fuck the PiGMOL/PL are serving up.

I've said as much on another thread, but I'm almost certain that toeing the PL party line is a condition of being able to show live matches and highlights.

I’m of the opposite opinion, that it’s the broadcasters who have the say. After all, it’s them that pay the big bucks.

Why else but only them have a direct feed to the background machinations of the PL

I've joked about that for years.

Producer in refs ear..."This is a bit boring. Send someone off."

:D

The stoppage time one wasn’t seen by the ref and VAR didn’t think it was a clear and obvious error, which can be debated.

The Walker one was a foul the other way.

Everton had lots of injury stoppages on top of Pickford wasting time, hence more time was added on.

I don’t agree with you, therefore I’m being contrarian. Your opinion. Not correct, but you’re allowed it.
Sorry bud these are flat earth arguments.
Stoppage time - Ref is looking directly at the incident.
Walker: clearly kicked by Sterling
Doku stamped on by Caicedo: ref a few yards away looking directly at it again. And after that, he had a boatload more fouls.
Everton injury time: in no world was there 6 mins more stoppages than Sat. Plus how can/why should Everton benefit from Pickford's time wasting?

Maybe - but I don't think it's a penalty.

Imagine Walker as the defender, and Sterling the attacker. You'd 100% expect a foul against Walker.

Walker is slightly behind Sterling, he's the one further from the ball, stretches, isn't close to getting a touch on the ball, and trips Sterling.
I agree , ref got that one right

but had it been dippers or the rags what would the ref do.and var not clear and obvious with neville doing his ooooo theres contact
I dont disagree with you, but i think walker initiated the contact and caught sterlings legs but yes, all we want is a level playing field.

The dias one though… it should have been given for any 3 of the fouls, the elbow, the hand ball or the shirt pull.
The handball could be argued about but If the shirt pull wasnt clear n obvious im not sure what is.

You watch the rules get tightened up next weekend and we'll get a penalty awarded against us for far less. That usually how these things pan out.

With Sky, perhaps that is the case, but the BBC (and others) are a different matter entirely. They shy away from contentious incidents every fcuking week in their highlights packages. GAME CHANGING incidents that just 'never happened'. It's almost inexplicable unless you consider it's a deliberate effort to control the narrative.
