Did anyone else notice in the Brighton game last night that the ref in his first prem game was having so much trouble with his microphone that he stopped the game went off and you saw him take his shirt off and rewired. When he came back on I noticed that his wrist was bare, they have a watch on each wrist. When he restarted the game he blew his whistle, looked at his watch and there was nothing there.
If a defender has encroached and clears the ball after a save that is an offence, likewise is a player scores after a save he will be penalised if he as encroached.Does Walton make it up as he goes along? Penalty awarded for Arsenal yday when the defender slightly touched the ball but took out the player. I agreed with the decision but remember it was a different rule in the derby……

Yeah. Touching the ball should never enter the frame for consideration when looking to award a penalty.
